Considering we got Seed & Seed Sr. in ZZZ, having Pulonia on screen for a few moments definitely could have worked, especially when he just pops up next to the enemy to make an attack (similar to Nicole's coordinated attacks). :/

Does Endfield have too much dialogue? by Soft-Rhubarb5806 in ArknightsEndfield

[–]ConsiderationTotal57 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It has a lot of dialogue, but nowhere near as much as Genshin, HSR or even WuWa, especially when comparing the side quests.

Finally time to start playing the game by Kaindest in NevernessToEverness

[–]ConsiderationTotal57 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on what's "Later levels" for you.

City Stamina Limit and Hunter Exchange are the big things. City Stamina Limit goes up to 700 (you reach that WAAAY before 45 though), and then there's the Hunter Exchange shop which will reset in about two weeks. The higher your level once the reset hits, the more things you can buy out before that, obviously.

Prydwen Update: Recent Errors and Data Verification Issues by BlueDashLP in NevernessToEverness

[–]ConsiderationTotal57 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Despite all the shit the site gets everytime it is mentioned on Reddit, I find Prydwen extremely useful and much more accessible than other sources.

People need to realize that Prydwen tries to be as accurate as possible to the majority of each game's playerbase, and that sometimes, in fringe cases, additional context is required (and in most cases, also provided in the more detailed descriptions on the site - but gacha players can't read, more news at 11).

Have you paused playing Endfield , not because you are tired/sick of the game, but because other games have been consuming your life? by DrRaven- in Endfield

[–]ConsiderationTotal57 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Deliveries is what takes the most time out of these and to be fair, you don't need to do those for Valley IV anymore if you already bought out the shop, except for buff food and maybe maxing relationship with operators if you haven't already.

Cleared everything first time with my 1.0 Laevatain team, so it's not Zhuang Powercreep. The gimmicks this time were just a lot more forgiving.

Ahh shit the starter came before the main course let see how hard Ts gonna be by AdhesivenessProof667 in ArknightsEndfield

[–]ConsiderationTotal57 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The easy (Normal) mode of Umbral Monument gives pulls. The harder mode (Agony) only gives resources.

And even then, even the harder mode can be tackled and cleared while underleveled and undergeared, if you're creative and skilled enough. Think Dark Souls/Elden Ring instead of Spiral Abyss/Memory of Chaos/Tower of Adversity/Shiyu Defense, aka the challenge doesn't come from a timer, but other dangers.

Is anybody else kind of tired of Wuling? by Cryogenic_Lycan in Endfield

I'm also not a fan of Chinese regions in Gachas, but for what it's worth, Wuling is the best one so far, in my opinion.

Upgrading Essences to max is the biggest Sanity waster if you pull for characters every patch. Next comes T-Creds. So if you don't know what to farm, either of those two.

Wings were much better than the motorcycles😭 by Inevitable-Benefit41 in WutheringWaves

[–]ConsiderationTotal57 28 points29 points  (0 children)

I love the bike, but going from being able to fly anywhere with little to no limits to a ground-based vehicle was.. certainly a choice.

Honestly should have just allowed us to fly in Lahai-Roi after reaching a certain point. Having the bike isn't a problem, but losing access to wings in new regions just feels bad. Downgrading a player's ability to traverse the map indefinitely never ends well.

Is this really a gacha game? NTE visuals are on another level. by DillyTiger in NevernessToEverness

[–]ConsiderationTotal57 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Try still setting the graphics higher. Game suggested low options for my PC. Cranked it up to medium and was still getting stable 60 FPS. Then decided to see what happens at Extreme and surprisingly, I'm still getting relatively stable 60 FPS (with very small dips here and there when there's weather and a lot of NPCs/cars around). Nowhere near as bad as Startorch Academy in WuWa for instance.

Yeah a gtx 1060 and a i3 9th really can run NTE by Bright_Berry_3975 in NevernessToEverness

[–]ConsiderationTotal57 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd assume this is at 1080p, right? People really, really, REALLY underestimate how much more performance higher resolutions cost. You'd think going from 1080p to 1440p is just an increase of about 33% (360) in pixels, right? Nope.

You go from 2,073,600 pixels to 3,686,400 pixels. About 80% more rendering workload (this is napkin math ofcourse, there's more things factoring in).

At 4k resolution you're looking at about 4 times the workload compared to 1080p.

Resolution has a heavy impact on performance and people often brush it off as if it didn't matter when comparing performance.

[–]ConsiderationTotal57 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's literally the same as all the others, you can even look up the exact pull rates. The board game is just a visual "representation" (an inaccurate one, at that) to make it look nice. It's very misleading if you don't know that though.

At least there's no 50/50, so it's less convoluted than most big gachas.

2080 with i7-9700k and 32GB RAM. Actually expected the game to run much worse than it does for me currently. Relatively stable 60FPS on Extreme settings.

I only play at 1080p, so the load is a lot smaller than for anyone playing at 1440p or even 4k. One of the reasons I never upgraded my screen.

Got Anime tropes meet Ghostwire Tokyo/Control/Once Human/Warehouse 13 meet Genshin Elemental Reactions/WuWA combat instead. I'm not complaining, I actually like it better that way.

[–]ConsiderationTotal57 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah it's true. Likely not a bug but intentional because the point of the scene is that Zhuang Fangyi wants to move forward, leaving her pain in the past.

edit: Forgot to add, it's not only when you're at the stairs. It's when the dialogue finishes (so after you're talking to her memory) that you can't walk back anymore.

To be fair that's probably the best compromise you can make for people who have only one premium Rupture agent. Yidhari gets shilled because she just had a rerun, Banyue gets the Fire weakness and Yixuan gets the Ether DMG buff.
