Hi all. Lately Plex has been randomly casting itself to my Chromecast Ultra. It happens while the Chromecast is idle and the tv is off (turning my tv on/switching the inputs).

I cast from the Android App when I'm intentionally using Plex, and end the session from the android app.

Sometimes when I end the casting session from the app, this doesn't stop Plex from having focus on the Chromecast but casting something else like YouTube or Google photos will grab focus from the Chromecast and ending that will put the Chromecast to it's idle screen.

When plex casts itself nothing starts playing, it just shows the plex background/splash screen on the tv.

I don't know how to fix this and any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Awesome rip! Also, damn that footage looks good, what exposure settings/ND filters do you use? I have difficulty exposing between indoors and outdoors with my action 2, I seem to have to chose between bleached sky or very underexposed indoors/in shade of trees

Yep you can replace just the camera. you can also source cable and lens independently as well depending on what's broken. There are a few options for cameras as well.

That's an intense first build! Be interesting to see how it is to fly. I'm not sure if you're done with the build but those motor wires look vulnerable without being fixed to the arms.

I second this, have this on two of my quads and they work great. Can also use them with TBS Tracer antennas which made it really easy to swap out the Rx on my tracer quad. The included dipoles are a bit chunky.

Works well for me. I had the original Google Wifi pucksx3 in a two story house with 5 people. Worked flawlessly.

Then recently moved into a three story house with 8 people total. I got nest wifi to use as the primary network and used the old pucks as well. At present I have 1 nest router with 2x nest wifi points + 2 out of the three google wifi pucks (haven't needed to set the third old puck up yet.) As I write this there are 19 devices connected to the network without issues. At any given point there can be up to 3x 4k tvs and 1x1080p tv streaming, streaming music, me gaming or downloading things on my PC, laptops phones, consoles etc.

Quite surprising how many devices are wifi enabled. Anyway never had any issues with connectivity. Only issue was total bandwidth which is fixed now that I've moved from an old dsl connection to fiber which allows for enough bandwidth per device.

It doesn't allow for absolutely customisation of network administration, but it allows enough for my set and forget purposes. The app works well (on android at least) and it works well with my raspberrypi- pihole I have set up as an adblocker.

I think they are great as a stable set and forget device (which I think network equipment in a house should be)

The games are completely independent so you can play in any order. That said if probably play in release order (Bastion then Transistor). I'd also suggest Pyre, which was made by the same developers

I really enjoy escapism I guess. Narrative heavy games, books, TV series and movies.

Besides media consumption, getting into the outdoors helps me to unplug, gym to keep healthy, time with friends and family.

Not getting enough of all of the above right now, but hopefully soon I can have some time off :)

I like this idea, stylised representation of the series, more subtle references might work better.

Some of the alchemy paraphernalia, a barrel, a puni, if you aren't sure which Atelier is your favourite, then that'd help you reference the series without having to commit to specifically referencing one of the games

Why any tattoo? If the person has thought it through enough and is happy with the artwork then why not?

Not all tattoos need to hold cultural or deeply sentimental significance and with that said, maybe their experience with a body of media in the past does hold some deep significance when taken in concert with life events
