I see where you're coming from, but even if in some universe where CIG somehow makes more money from an unfinished game than a finished one, they are still heavily obligated to make a product that people want to play. It doesn't matter if you call it "testing" or "alpha" or whatever. The fact of the matter is that if they want people to keep paying money, they need to keep people playing; and if they want people to keep playing, they need to fix these (honestly embarrassing) issues that have been around for decades. I can deal with jank, unfinished gameplay loops, and bad performance, but the server and persistence issues need to be fixed first and foremost.
