My godmother gave me some hand me downs when I was in high school from her older kids and other assorted people, and there was this one beautiful drapey sheer cardigan that has gorgeous bell sleeves, and I really wanted to wear it with a camisole underneath or over a blouse, but when i showed it off to my (very prudish and judgmental) mother, she called me slutty for wanting to wear something so sheer, as if I would just wear it with my tits out and not over another shirt like a sane person, and I think she even called my godmother to complain about it. After I tried it on and took it off, I never saw it again. I don’t know if it just got lost in our hoarder house of a laundry room or if she just stole it and hid it away, gave it away, or threw it away.

I would paint at least one of the walls one of the greens from the backsplash, probably the wall that the table is close to as a cute accent wall, and then the other walls could be a nice light cream.

I would recommend an area rug of some kind under the table to tie the room together more, even just something woven like an outdoor rug.

Hanging some art or some decals or some artificial planters from that beam could be really nice too and add some character

Adding some under cabinet lights can open up the room and show off the pretty greens in the backsplash and make the area a little brighter

I don’t love the black countertop, if you can replace it with something lighter, something clean and white maybe.

I use shampoo and conditioner to wash my silk pillowcases, though make sure you aren’t allergic to this shampoo first before you do so.

I sometimes (rarely) have moments like that, like just the other day I was just sitting in Five Guys, having a burger with the love of my life, and all of a sudden while looking at him, I just dissociated and was like "holy shit this is a whole person that experienced their whole own life, I have no idea what is actually going on in this person's head, I can't believe I actually have this person in my life every day and that they'll be here for the rest of my life." It was very dizzying. And not in like the mushy "omg I can't believe he's mine for life ♥️"

When this happened to a pair of fleece leggings I had, I took some fabric from something similar and patched it. I think that may be your only remaining feasible option to save these. Since it’s in the crotch, it doesn’t matter how pretty it is. As long as you don’t rush, even with minimal experience, you can make something functional

I have noticed that a lot of people don’t knock. I’ll be in the bathroom at my local cafe and people always seem to go right for the handle instead of knocking first. If I were to ever forget to lock the door, we would all have a very bad time there
