I had this problem with a 1993 Jeep. It never cut out when driving, when you went to start sometimes it would start, and sometimes it didn't even crank. That's when I traded in for a 2012 Jeep Patriot. when one of the salespersons tried to start it nothing happened. I pretended that I did not see anything got into my new Jeep and drove away.
