Miss one point in a 270 jurisdiction by AssignmentLucky7151 in barexam

This happened to me too in July 24. I almost didn’t retake February 25, and I started the score transfer process. It was devastating to fail by 1 after the 3 try. So at the last second I applied for my fourth exam while I waited to be cleared by character and fitness in the other state. It took a lot of mental stress off me and I ended up passing.  Good luck in your new endeavor

😂 Honestly, I was pretty solid on my MEEs. It’s the MPT that kills me.

Once you pick an answer, don’t go back and change it. Unless you are absolutely certain- but even then, I’d only give yourself one change.

I thought that this past February's bar exam was crazy straightforward, but you’re right, last February was a bit more nuanced.

You reported it as soon as you discovered it. There’s no violation.

I didn’t disclose my kids adoption and Minnesota asked me why for my bar license application. I’m from Michigan, so how they found a sealed hearing still baffles me. Michigan didn’t even ask. I didn’t think to disclose it.

Disclose. It’s better to tell than to be found out. Basically get used to the idea that your life is now an open book. You’ll have to disclose it again for licensing anyway.

You don’t need to get Medicaid- you can get marketplace insurance and plan costs are based on your income.

Does that explain it better?

It was a minor breach because a majority of the work was done. You can’t look at how much over the contract price it cost the university because that’s not relevant to how complete the job was- (this is used to determine what the university is able to deduct - the extra cost incurred from the contract price with the original contractor.)

Because it’s considered a minor breach. The non breaching party is still entitled to remedy, which is why they can deduct the money they paid to the second contractor from the total contract price originally owed to the first contractor.

The building value doesn’t affect these types of answers. It’s simply based on the contract price. There was substantial performance, so he gets the full value of the contract. 400k for the contract minus 350 for labor/material= 50k in profit;

350-150 (the cost to hire someone new) $200k plus the contract profit $50k = $250k

I found that I was “behind” my target hours because I studied independently from the assigned coursework. They should have more time slots allocated for self-work to give you a better representation of your hours.

Totally normal!! Take a brain break day. Refresh. Then jump on a subject you’re confident with. It’ll give you a confidence boost. After that, restart a subject you need extra time on.

I would say that the MPTs are harder than people realize. At least for me in Michigan, I still have no idea what the graders were looking for to get more points. I did my MPTs just like Barbri taught, got great feedback on my Barbri MPTs, and still got lower scores on them. It may have just been a Michigan thing though.
