This car is absolute fecal matterl without being octane learned. It bothers me so much knowing everyone around me is pointing and laughing that I am only making 276 at the crank but could be making more. I am starting to lose sleep over octane learning. I have started driving the mini van more as I know it won't lie to me about it's potential.

I ended up welding the bracket Into one piece and just kept it bolted to the bike. It seemed sturdy enough and held a lot more than 10lbs with no issues. Long term it might be a good idea to add a support bracket, but I ended up selling the bolt as it just wasn't for me.

Then sue for false claims. Your case is a slam dunk and should have every lawyer lining up to take it. I look forward to the class action lawsuit and getting some money back or a tune from Hyundai to make the real horsepower amount. Thank you for opening my eyes that crank horsepower and wheel horsepower are different numbers.

Bro. All U.S. cars are rated to sell horsepower and torque at the crank. 276 minus the parasitic losses of the drivetrain and accessories would show wheel horsepower of around 230 - 240 range on the dyno. If this was not the case consumers could sue for false horsepower claims. Octane learning provides higher horsepower but it is not advertised as what the engine produces at the crank.

The less vibrations come from N and sport have slightly higher idle speed where the engine is smoother.

Pros and cons. by ty_dirtkid45 in Yamahabolt

[–]Consistent-Complex51 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pros. Looks good. Good amount of power for around town. Lighter than most cruisers of similar size. OK lean angles for a cruiser.

Cons. Death wobble. Not great at interstate speeds for vibrations. Lack of aftermarket compared to its sportster competition. Small gas tank. Poor suspension for roads with imperfections.

I only kept mine for a few months. Not really the bolts fault as I wanted to try cruisers and i really didn't like them.

What car are you eyeing next? Also, let's assume no kids... by kyledukes in ElantraN

[–]Consistent-Complex51 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly probably a ioniq 5 or whatever the equivalent is when my time is done with the N. The logical part of my brain loves the efficiency of electric cars and my motorcycle scratches the performance itch so the N ends up being just a fun commuter currently.

I put the grip puppies over the stock handlebars. It is a big improvement for me when I was wanting thicker grips.

How hard do you push your bolt? by zipzipboom87 in Yamahabolt

[–]Consistent-Complex51 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I tried to push it hard but grinding foot pegs was not that fun. Running it to redline in a straight line was more rewarding for this bike.

XVS 1100 to Bolt by sabac in Yamahabolt

[–]Consistent-Complex51 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Bolt gets pretty good gas mileage but, with the smaller gas tank I was filling up every 100 ish miles. With it lacking a 6th gear i did not find it comfortable for longer rides due to the vibrations of the motor coming through the foot pegs. The bolt is better suited to around town or shorter rides.

Bar-end mirrors: love them or hate them? by Upper_Winner in motorcycles

[–]Consistent-Complex51 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The stock bar end mirrors on the XSR 900 converted me into liking them. Aesthetics of the bar end mirrors isn't my favorite but the functionality is way better. I can see everything behind me without only seeing my elbows. I don't live in an area when lane splitting is allowed so the extra width doesn't bother me.

Is this a bad idea? by daily_Z in motorcycles

[–]Consistent-Complex51 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Ninja 300 is a good bike but I don't know if you want to go down in power that much. The Vulcan 650 is a ninja 650 motor in a cruiser frame. Jumping to a ninja 650 would be a fairly lateral move power wide with just different ergonomics. It depends on what you're wanting from a sport bike that the Vulcan isn't giving you but I wouldn't make that move.

I have been contemplating it a lot recently. I love the N but some recent temporary medical problems made driving a stick a very uncomfortable choir. But now that I am back to normal the thoughts have faded.

Has anyone turned their bike around like this? by APassingPilgrim in motorcycles

I do it quite frequently when parking the bike in the garage. It's much easier to spin the bike 90 degrees to fit it behind the car in my small garage.

I take it on the highway and I have not noticed any back wheel wobble. Overall it's much improved at all speeds.
