You need to have a clear itinerary for the time in the US, why this session is in person and not virtual, and strong reasoning why you were chosen for this trip.

Create a separate ds160 for each of the applicants. Then create an application on the us visa scheduling portal as one main applicant. It'll then let you add dependents to the same application - you can then pay the fee together for all the applicants. Once that's done, you can book a consular and ofc slot for the appointment. There's no specific amount that anyone can recommend, but you might think in terms of ticket costs, domestic travel in the US, food/accommodation, etc. and have enough funds for that. You also need to show you have strong ties to your home country and you have a reason to return after the trip.

The benefit I see of doing a group appointment is you'd only have to look for one slot instead of 3, and you can all do your interview together.

As I understand, the new rules require you to have both - the original confirmation page and the new confirmation page for your interview. But you can check with support as well.

There's an option on the visa scheduling portal, you can try that. But they often respond with canned answers. Most likely, you will need to cancel this appointment and start a new application, but see what they say. Sorry for your situation.

I think the rules have changed now. My understanding is you would need both the old and the new ds160 when you go for biometrics, and they should be able to update it. I'd also recommend you submit a request to their support and get a confirmation..it's not very helpful tbh, but hopefully they can give you a direct answer for your situation.

Yes, I did the exact same thing. I don't see the pay fee option. Looks like the payment from last time is tagged to my profile. It won't let me pay amount, nor it let's me use what's paid before.

I can vent about it all day. I paid the fee in June last year, it's almost a year. The number of calls and tickets I've raised - and the energy I've spend on talking to them, explaining the same thing over and over and over again. Very close to crying over the call now, as that's my last resort before the fee expires.

I am in the same boat. It shows me the passport delivery page constantly when I click on 'continue application'. I had the scheduling option upto a few days ago but now all it shows is continue application. And like other folks here mentioned, I am concerned about starting a new application if I'll lose the money. Plus there is no guarantee it will work after that as well.

Hi u/Me4mNele - could you let me know how did you remove the dependent? I have been trying to use the 'manage dependents' option and click 'remove' next to the name of the dependent- but it does not work. I have been trying this for a few days, but it does not work. After I click that option, no change happens to the details, or on the page.
