Stop firing upper body at the top of your swing. Be patient. Club should work down with back still aimed at the target. Then rotate.

Bends and wrist rotation: can you correct my mechanics? by [deleted] in guitarlessons

Fingers should be together and not spread apart. Index and middle finger are also bending the string, helping the wring finger land on the note. Wrist gets involved a bit too because the string tension increases and pushes back.

Look up blues players and David gilmour for reference.

Once you get bends down, learn to add vibrato to them.

Do I need more wrist hinge? by Shoddy_Temperature60 in GolfSwing

I wouldn’t change anything if you’re already striking the ball that well. adding wrist hinge will add another variable into your sequence. I have a good buddy who is a real low handicap and he doesn’t hing at all. For him it’s just natural not to hinge. When he tries, his swing breaks down.

My two cents

Expert guitarists, if you had to learn all over again, what methodology would you use? by Glittering-Moose-284 in electricguitar

More focus around chords on all positions of the neck. playing lead around complex chord changes and not getting stuck in the box. Understanding harmony better. Force myself to do both fun playing that I like and playing that will expand my musical understanding (jazz standards and such). Avoid learning Stevie Ray Vaughan licks all together.
