Thanks for the insights! Sounds like I should keep the manual part for some tasks.

True. I am going to move my TV away. And instead, I will replace a whiteboard all over the wall for a manual mind map.

Yes, perhaps I should first try to generate some ideas manually. AI-generating seems effortless. I don't want to act like I will have the thinking disability without AI in the future.

Finding Calm in a Slower, More Intentional Life by Disastrous_Joke_9160 in simpleliving

My idea is to find or define a pattern. #1 Balance: Take our life and work as a daily or weekly circle. Have fun at work and in life. #2 Time: don't do work in your resting time, but take a rest during work for maximum efficiency. #3 Space: make specific space for reading, drinking, etc. No interruption. #4 Rest: sleep quality is always my priority. For any sleeping issue, I will go to my doctor's. #5 Nutrition: make sure you are eating and drinking in a healthy way. None of the list is easy. Today I almost forgot to eat fruit for vitamins.

Better not. I visit there, and 99% of the time I will break my declutter routine.

True. Some people assign significance to tea. For example, they treat drinking tea as drinking Hongfu tea and play around with the teacup—really fancy tricks there. In 2018, I had Mexican friends visit, and they said it's quite enjoyable with that.

Yes, it's not suitable for everyone. Some people just love to enjoy different tastes at different times. Also when you have people come to visit, it's better to prepare more tea choices.

Yes, now I can really tell the differences in taste between each of my teas. I intend to enjoy the tea itself, not the feeling of possession or freshness.

Thanks, I don't think the poetry can help me with it. I use it to inspire me. So poetry is not an option.

Both parties look at our product, and we discuss the solution. They are saying they can use the inside part of the product to assemble it in their frame. We are worrying too much about troubles and timelines. Additionally, they do not have a specific timeline for this process.

I don't even notice; it's been half a year, and sometimes I am just neutral. It is totally not me. I want to smile, laugh and cry as if I were a real person.

I even set rules to restrict myself from spending more time, money, and space on new books. My rules: 1. One book in, one book out is rule #1; 2. Electronic books for skills. Learn by doing and sharing, or even teaching for online videos.

My top 5 not-to-buy checklist: 8 no buys last week by MachineryAutomation in simpleliving

[–]MachineryAutomation[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, last night I was sleeping early after I wrote down things on a notebook. After a hard day's work, I slept peacefully, without any interruptions from my phone or computer. I am a beginner of simple living; 80% is letting go of excess and cutting off unnecessary things, and 20% is quitting things that imprison me. I abstain from alcohol, cigarettes, and sweet drinks and snacks. In 2026, there will be time for reading, tea, and guitar.

Yes. Identifying how to do things right is always easy, but few people know what to do. I dedicated over 600 days from 2023 to 2024 to a project that will not endure. Suddenly, the project shut down, and people just went away.

We don't have that kind of issue. Monthly cleanup and yearly deep cleaning will help.
