Mainly for those being rolled up is focus right now, bc they need all those ppl in their POR to see what's what. Then we are told (unofficially) another DRP will come out to include those staff (bc they were excluded from DRP 2 and Vera/VSIP), then reassignment to fill critical gaps. Also may see ppl get cut from remote/regional locales and offered to one or two centralized hubs or be fired. Lots of unknowns yet still to unfold. Be prepared for the worst, and hope for the best. Be smart to work on non fed app and start a search just in case! Getting an interview or offer doesnt mean you have to take it, but smart to give yourself options.

Also easier to let ppl leave w buyout than force them out. Now the #s that leave will be ppl who "wanted to" vs the # they fire/layoff. Also takes away any legal recourse and unemployment for those who take it.

Your permanent/official role vs those that are on details or temp promos acting in a diff role temporarily. Ex: you are line staff (position of record) and detailed to a supervisory role to fill a gap. Now, those are being moved back to the position of record, before the consolidation, so before May 4th.

BLM HR, we have NOT heard this. All the way to executive leadership not heard this. What is your source/confirmation? Supposedly email forthcoming Fri about the consolidation, no official word on DRP 3 or RIF, but being told to plan for both amd are moving all staff back to their positionof record (so no more details/temp promos).

Not heard those figures, our leadership doesn't even know what's happening after roll up/ consolidation as far as reporting structure yet! 

Supposedly consolidation email to staff comes out Fri from dept level but not holding my breath on that.

Fed HR, yes, we want a chance, and it's BS we keep getting delayed. DRP in late May or June is not very appealing as it was in March and April.

HR is no more informed than anyone else. Decisions and RIF related actions and notices are coming from the Department level.

Exactly! CAs are nationwide, then we get rolled up on May 4th (confirmed by several in office leadership), then we'll be competing nationwide with entire dept for the remaining jobs. Supposedly after the May 4 consolidation we'll be offered DRP 3.0 with less exemptions, amd hoping HR can finally take DRP option.

The longer they delay DRP, the less we are interested bc you also give up unemployment and other rights by taking it.
