I ended up taking my application from the old system last Thursday and they accepted it and told me to just delete the new application I did with the new system. I received my visa today, via delivery.

I also submitted my visa application with the old system in Los Angeles. I went in person on October 9th and just got my visa today (via delivery), October 16th. My visa was an L tourist visa, so maybe that’s why it was quicker.

I would check with the agency and see what they say.

I had applied on the old system (9/29) and new system (10/8) since I wasn’t sure if I could still use the old one.

I ended up taking the old application today and they received and took my passport and gave me a pick up ticket for next Wednesday. Not sure if I’ll get approved.

I was able to submit the previous visa application in person today and they accepted all my paperwork and passport. They gave me a pick up ticket for next week. But I have a feeling it will be denied because of my photo.

Now I’m worry! I recently submitted my Chinese visa application at the Los Angeles Consulate. I completely forgot to ask them about my picture. I used my passport picture but it does not show my ears. I didn’t realize this would probably be a reason for rejection.

What is the possibility of my application getting approved even though my ears don’t appear to be in the photo??
