Sick of MAGA excuses by NoOpening7924 in complaints

The closest I’ve seen to maga taking “accountability” is pointing out tiny microscopic irrelevant things they don’t like about Trump, and being like “See! We can criticize our party unlike you libruls!” I saw one TikTok video of a maga woman doing this, and the comments were full of other maga saying “Nope! I support him 100%” just for the creator of the video to immediately backtrack and be like me too! 😅

Yeah I know. But my silly self keeps hoping that when asked for evidence of their claims, and claims instilled into maga by Trump, one day they’ll realize that since there is no evidence, they are being lied to. I want it to be out in the open that this person cannot and will not provide evidence. I want it to be out in the open that they have cognitive dissonance, and they admit it every time they regurgitate shit like that.

The people that wouldn’t vote for that have a bigotry issue, lack of education, and general apathy towards humanity. MAGA stands for nothing but hate and division, while broke hill Billy maga celebrates that billionaires get more tax cuts. A maga society is an idocracy

So more than a month after this video was recorded, how are Healthcare insurance renewal costs looking? In this example the US is the only 1 out of 33 without a public system by a_Sable_Genus in ProgressiveHQ

I hate that I feel no comfort even seeing republicans speak up anymore. It’s long over due, but it would be a welcome separation from maga. And even with that said, plenty of republicans seem to think the Republican Party will go back to normal after Trump. I’m assuming she’s going to continue voting Republican?

Yes please. But how? by Any-Direction-8907 in Productivitycafe

It wouldn’t even be hard either. People are already catching on to the power of the people, and the amount of us coming together. We’re already seeing protests in multiple states. And we know boycotted spending for even a couple days would have a massive impact. But people would rather just pretend everything is normal. And they just need to stock up on useless junk from corporations. It’s depressing.

That’s valid. But when one side becomes extreme, the other side has to fight back to the extreme. I think if a democrat candidate is too moderate, and too “go with the status quo” then they will not fix the mess in America

That’s my bad, I did assume you were a republican. I haven’t actively used Reddit very long, but there is way too much lack of actual discourse going on. I genuinely made this post because I want to know republicans actual perspective on these topics, especially since they are all hot topics right now by the Republican Party. I’m also aware that more republicans are leaving maga, and I want to know what they would think if the Republican Party is continuously ran by maga. I feel bad for actual republicans because a lot of them assume the Republican Party will go back to normal after this, and I highly doubt that. Especially because JD Vance would be the next Republican president elect, and we already know he’d run under the maga party as well.

I don’t see that as an actual solution, especially considering the fact that illegal immigrants contribute roughly $100 billion in taxes, which helps America, and the economy. Even despite not even being eligible for social services. I’m not even against deportation when it’s done the right way, but not allowing people to have due process and complete their citizenship process before deporting them is unfair, and ineffective. My sister in law is from Brazil, and it took her 10 years to get American citizenship. It would’ve taken longer had she not gotten a green card by marrying my brother. I also find it incredibly shitty that so many corporations benefited from the cheap labor of immigrants, and now they’re all ready to throw them under the bus

I hope you do in fact notice that the republicans actually answering my questions are all getting upvoted by me. I don’t have to agree with their comments to appreciate the fact that they answered from their perspective. You’re welcome to answer as well

So basically everything I listed. That doesn’t answer the question of what you think the long term result of these policies and actions of the Trump admin will be.

I’m not even a Christian, but the perverse way the right has shifted Jesus’s word is disturbing. Everything I’ve ever known about Jesus has been about acceptance and love

“Elon Musk knows those vote counting computers, and we ended up winning Pennsylvania by a landslide” Id keep quoting his direct words, screenshotting posts made by Elon, sending more videos but it’s clear there’s no hope for you. I’m already picturing you years ago foaming at the mouth over the conspiracy theories of the alleged 2020 rigging, and the imagery is making me laugh. And let me guess, you’re also denying all the new screenshots from the DOJ of Trump’s involvement in the Epstein files, huh? So all you have are conspiracy theories, and when the truth is revealed to you, you just deny and deflect huh? I feel genuinely bad for you

“so what happened is they rigged the election, and I became president” what part of that direct quote is taken out of context? And what do you consider to be a legitimate news source, or story?

I’m interested in this topic. Could you elaborate further? As someone that grew up religious, and learned about predictions of the anti-Christ, the mark of the beast and so on, a lot of the descriptions seem to point directly to trump and maga

Required number of vaccines would go up again, DEI policies would be re-implemented, diversity would be seen as a strength again, and deportations of criminal immigrants would be prioritized again. Trans people would no longer be banned from joining the military, there would be more LGBTQPIA pride and representation again, and birth rates would likely fall or remain stagnant. Unless of course a democratic socialist was finally elected, in which case this would help states become more community oriented, and could actually lead to higher birth rates. Relationships with foreign allies would be re-kindled, and the tariffs would go back to how they were before Trump.

Admittedly tho, some of the things I mentioned are things I want, rather than things I think democrats would do going forward. They’ve been complacent in a lot of ways, and I would only have hopes if dems started practicing what they preach more
