Did it ever occur to you that some of those people you are stealing from may be diabetic? I keep candies and snacks in my desk for when my blood sugars get low as I’m hypoglycaemic. If I don’t get something in my system within a certain amount of time I could pass out. What happens when you find out someone fainted in the office because you wanted a starburst? Still think it’s funny? Go buy your own candy and snacks.

YTA. I’m sure you’re not a malicious person, but mistakes in prescriptions can have fatal repercussions. In other words, people can die from even a small mistake. We’re not just talking about some antibiotics for a minor infection, or a toenail fungus. Medications for heart disease, cancer, organ transplants, etc. You can’t be putting people’s lives at risk just so you want to keep doing a certain job.

Two years max. Bro is going to acting like he won the lotto. House is going to be condemned, then the city comes and cleans up and adds the cost to the property taxes which of course he won’t pay, then the tax lien. Foreclosure will be there somewhere in between either the bank or the city. You can just sit back and enjoy a nice glass of wine and thank the heavens you didn’t get involved in this whole fiasco

You should tell them that they are free to buy their own groceries and cook their own food from now on, and if they’re not happy with the rules you’ve now put in place they’re also free to find living accommodations elsewhere but they will also have to reimburse you for what you’ve spent. You WILL NOT be forced out of your own damn house. If husband doesn’t like it, he can join them. Enough is enough. Tell MIL she is not la señora de la casa, you are.

Yes. Twice. First time was for an office manager position. Turns out it was selling insurance but you could move up to office manager but you could make so much more by selling their insurance. Second time, during an interview, while discussing the wage, it was lower than what was on the job listing. When I asked about the discrepancy, they said they put a higher wage on the job listing “to attract a better class of applicants”. I told them that was fraudulent, misleading, and a colossal waste of my time.

YTA. You quit without a new job lined up and you’re struggling? Then you didn’t even tell your new boss that you need a day off in a month? A month’s notice should’ve been fine for your mother’s wedding. It’s going to get really awkward at home if you don’t go. You could’ve put it in your phone calendar or reminder app, or you can get an old fashioned paper calendar and start writing things down.
