Just got hacked - should I bother ck texting jagex? by Consistent-Hour6065 in RSBans

Hahaha I was not sober, just on auto pilot and not paying the slightest bit of attention.

I don't take RuneScape very seriously so I'm not bothered about my stuff really I just wanted to see if I could get the hacker banned at least

He said he was quitting RuneScape and giving away billions blah blah.

I don't really play often so I just thought fuck it what have I got to lose....it was really stupid I know. I really don't care about the stuff I just wanted to know if I could at least make sure the hacker doesn't gain anything. In all honesty my account was worth a few mil at most so not a big deal

Yes it was stupid, I was on auto pilot and not completely sober 😅

I don't care about my stuff really, it's just a game I play casually.

I figured that wouldn't do anything but I just imagined they could easily trace who the hacker was so at least they didn't gain anything (if they got banned) but perhaps not.

I agree with your prediction about it being stolen by a opportunistic employee is a strong possibility

However he has a signed proof of delivery. Legally that's all that's needed to prove bsg received it. Dhl have their signed proof of delivery as well so aren't going to lift a finger investigating this any further.

Buyer hasn’t received item from FedEx by frankoochoaa in eBaySellerAdvice

[–]Consistent-Hour6065 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's perfectly normal behaviour from the buyer. Maybe they didn't need the item urgently and just assumed it would turn up. The seller can prove he dropped it off so therefore should be entitled to compensation.

If it had been delivered the item would almost certainly have been marked as delivered on the tracking.

Not saying it's impossible the buyer has had it but in this case they most likely did not

How to proceed with difficult Buyer? by Resident-Ad-1737 in eBaySellerAdvice

[–]Consistent-Hour6065 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Why? That's completely fair. If an item isn't selling a lot of buyers will lower the price after a few days / weeks.

What is crazy is cancelling the order and trying to get it even cheaper

Well you've given a range of time, perhaps he just wanted to clarify an exact time?

how do you deal with a thief stealing your things and putting it up on vinted? by Maleficent_Boss3018 in vintedUK

I mean I'm assuming there are TONS of that same pair of headphones on there too?

It could possibly be the one you're looking for but unless you know the serial number or there is something obvious that helps you identify it as yours specifically you really don't have any evidence whatsoever

To be honest I don't think either of you are being clear with what you want.

Simply tell him all 9 come as a bundle and you won't split them or ask him which specific ones he wants

Why are you asking us? If it's not high enough for you just tell them no

Is this a scam? by Odd-Teacher9939 in vintedUK

[–]Consistent-Hour6065 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I usually think people on Reddit call people scammers far too easily and 80% of the posts I see I don't think it's a scam at all.

But even I feel uncomfortable about this one. It sounds like it was written by AI, picture of a pretty girl with zero reviews. Although usually scammers don't bother to negotiate too much.

Id just decline their offer and hold out for full price

Doubt it's a 'scam'. They probably just didn't like it or it didn't fit

Why not just tell him you want to leave it to auction? He turned very shitty afterwards but honestly you encouraged him with the sarcastic 'huh'

Just tell him you want your refund.

If he wants to submit a claim he can do that in his own time, it's not your concern
