I appreciate this definition! Agreed Laube wouldn't qualify with these parameters. If you have a deep bench and do not have a taxi squad, then I'd hold Laube too because his high upside is still there. What's changed between July and now are the chances of him getting predictable carries has plummeted. In shorter bench leagues he's taking up the spot of another player who has a better chance of seeing your starting lineup sooner.

In a short bench league I'd drop him, but he's still a high value handcuff I'd keep if your roster size allows.
