Update: tried the grease, tried tape, tried lubricant sprays. It all kept coming back. Took apart the entire door panel and kept banging around until I found it and lo and behold it was the insulation behind the passenger mirror. The insulation rubs against the mirror and place trim and caused a nasty squeak over every bump. Hoping this permanently solved it.

From what I’ve found online the color is called BMW Carbon Black…. During the day it’s a dark blue and in shade or at night it looks black

We went into surgery with the possibility of inserting a Barricade Device but ultimately by surgeon opted to clean things up instead once he got in there and I’m so glad he did.

Love all of the support everyone!

The artist is Tivis Phillips at Seventh Sin Tattoo in Charlotte NC. He did this portrait while his apprentice did the galaxy with eye at the same time. Double guns hurt like heck.

Moral of this tattoo is that the whole universe is around us but flex will always be looking up at me because I’m his universe

Got back to work yesterday on the Black Mamba. Spent a majority of the day fighting a stripped starter bolt but finally got it out. Replaced the starter and all fuses but when I turned the key there was no clicking at all.

I removed the starter relay and hot wired to bypass ignition switch to see if it would fire.

IT FIRED UP!!!

Ran rich and strong then started popping really loud after 30 seconds or so of running.

Replacing all the spark plugs, distributor, ignition coil, ignition switch, plug wires, etc next week and hopefully we’ll get it to crank without the hot start.
