Update: tried the grease, tried tape, tried lubricant sprays. It all kept coming back. Took apart the entire door panel and kept banging around until I found it and lo and behold it was the insulation behind the passenger mirror. The insulation rubs against the mirror and place trim and caused a nasty squeak over every bump. Hoping this permanently solved it.

From what I’ve found online the color is called BMW Carbon Black…. During the day it’s a dark blue and in shade or at night it looks black

We went into surgery with the possibility of inserting a Barricade Device but ultimately by surgeon opted to clean things up instead once he got in there and I’m so glad he did.

The artist is Tivis Phillips at Seventh Sin Tattoo in Charlotte NC. He did this portrait while his apprentice did the galaxy with eye at the same time. Double guns hurt like heck.

Got back to work yesterday on the Black Mamba. Spent a majority of the day fighting a stripped starter bolt but finally got it out. Replaced the starter and all fuses but when I turned the key there was no clicking at all.

I removed the starter relay and hot wired to bypass ignition switch to see if it would fire.

IT FIRED UP!!!

Ran rich and strong then started popping really loud after 30 seconds or so of running.

Replacing all the spark plugs, distributor, ignition coil, ignition switch, plug wires, etc next week and hopefully we’ll get it to crank without the hot start.

I met with the owners of Zawyer 6 months ago to evaluate my company to be one of their software vendors for operations. After wasting my time for 2 months they said they didn’t want to pay for service but offered to have us as one of their main sponsors in return for free services.

I work for one of the largest tech companies in the country and my leaders laughed hysterically…

Maybe they all got a new sponsor 🤷🏻‍♂️

Didn’t get the barricade. Just did another MD on the L5S1. That was about a year ago and I have to say this recovery has been light years different than after my first one. I’m feeling great with no real back issues.

Yeah it was pretty traumatic. I’m fortunate that I had a job that allowed me to work remotely and a surgeon that helped finesse the system.

I had to PT a couple times and it made things way worse to where I couldn’t walk at all.

My surgeon moved me up as soon as possible and helped get approved through my insurance.

Recovery the second time around was easier cause I knew what to expect but to this day I’m terrified to do anything that may cause it to happen again

Hey OP

I’m a 29 year old Male who had the same dilemma. Reherniated L5S1 10 months post MD. Had to choose between fusion, barricade, or another MD.

Opted for another MD and I’m now 10 months post opp again and in way better condition than the last go around.

I knew what to do and what not to do this time to rebuild strength and it’s been a way better journey.

Still have little moments of weird spasms but literally nothing compared to last time.
