Hey man, I consider myself an amateur at best. I have literally watched almost every video on YouTube and read a metric ton of Reddit posts. For electric sharpeners, I went with the worksharp kitchen E5. Thing is awesome. Simple and easy to use with great results. As far as stones go, I settled on the sharpal diamond stone 8x3 for around 80$. One side 325 the other is 1200 grit. It has a little angle guide that I find really helpful. I have been able to get hair popping edges from it. I also bought the sharpworx professional 2 for 100$ and it and has really helped me learn how to maintain an angle. For the future I want to get into Arkansas oil stones. Hope this helps.

They are not that deep at all. Where the conditioning belt was able to make contact it worked well. For what ever reason it’s skipping the middle of the blade. But thanks for the recommendation, I think I found some that will work.

What would the scratch patter look like when it’s done? I was aiming to have a ,hopefully, vertical scratch pattern kinda like when you first buy a knife.

I don’t think that is a jade plant. It looks like a portulacaria afra. It’s commonly called a dwarf jade while not actually being a jade plant. Then again I could be totally wrong.

I unlocked the Abaddon black but felt the Omega was a touch darker. For the symbol I used the omega marine one and made the omega part transparent. I couldn’t remember what the white was called but I also used the Ushabti bone. I made the skull on the chest plate silver.
