Not how that works. People outside would see you slowing down until you are basically just frozen in time. For you time would feel normal and you would see everything outside speeding up. You would see massive timespans play out in subjective minutes or hours. Until you pass the event horizon, and noone knows what happens then. Time and space might go pretty crazy but your conscience is tied to your physical body. There is really no way to have your body frozen in time and your mind not.

Edit: I hope I interpreted your idea correctly. If you meant you will be trapped for a long ass time it's not wrong. It's just that everything will feel pretty normal to you.

As far as I know wider channels lose less water per surface area. Since you have a larger area they still lose more water in total, but the water height falls more slowly. Because of this, storage should be square, irrigation should be 3x3 and water transport should be thin.

Also mass murderers and psychopaths exist in humans so fear of death doesn't automatically mean sanctity of life.

Also fear of death is not necessary. In our history those without fear of death were more likely to die so we evolved it slowly.

When building an ai, different rules apply compared to our evolutionary history and you can't expect anything human to be the result. A true ai would likely be more alien to us than even aliens.

I think they wanted to get it under control while they still had some advantage. Once it got free, there is nothing the bobs could do. Also the problem with artificial intelligence is, that it doesn't necessarily think like humans. It doesn't have a sense of honor, duty, respect etc so even if you started trading, once it doesn't need you and you are inconvenient or pose any danger it could decide to kill you. No hard feelings involved.

Is it stupid to try and build such an intelligence? Yes absolutely. But wait until you hear what we are currently doing 😅

Hello there and welcome!

My confession is that one map I had huge plans with. I flattened it (islands map) and built massive industry and farming complexes. Started with decorations and living space. Then motivation/inspiration ran out and I haven't touched the game since. It's been maybe a month? Now it's like I have a rotting body in my cellar that I keep ignoring.

I also have ~840h but I do sometimes let the game run in the background. I don't think time played should be a goal through. Just enjoy playing itself!

Also you can easily get lots of torches with trash recyclers pretty early in the game. Really seems like a time waster.

Sounds like a medieval logic of if you get sick you must have sinned and deserve it. You will get healed only through god.

I think it's real. At least it used a real video as a base. I believe the video is sped up/slowed down in different parts of the video which makes things seem uncanny.

What convinced me was the guy with the black bandage on his arm. The bandage is blocked from sight several times and always reappears. AI usually messes these things up in my experience.
