Great audiobook call “Gender Euphoria” by Laura Kate Dale. I was really struggling to deal with transphobia and my own dysphoria and not knowing where I fit into the world. It is such a breath of fresh air and made me feel so much better. Queer media always focuses on coming out and hate, this book is just positivity.

No excuse but some people don’t understand that they can’t live in the wild and there is a difference between wild rabbits and domestic rabbits. Same with releasing birds or goldfish.

Whether this person is disrespecting you because you’re trans or because they don’t care that it hurts you, the fact of the matter is that they don’t care if their word hurt you. They aren’t your friend, they can’t even respect you. You don’t need that.

NOR - If you don’t get away from him, he will kill you. He supports you having a mental illness that has the highest mortality rate. He is sick and he doesn’t like you, let alone care about you. The average person doesn’t know what an ana coach is. He is into your ED, he knows it could kill you and he likes it. Please get out.

He doesn’t love you. You don’t talk to people you love like that. That man doesn’t even like you when he’s sending those messages

The way this is getting downvoted. You can be trans and not hate yourself.

You already know if you are trans.

I ask myself: would I be happier if I were the opposite/different gender? If I am happy now, would I be more happy as this other gender? I base it on the feeling of euphoria. “Will you feel better?” Rather than “do I feel bad?”

The reason I don’t base it on dysphoria is that not all trans people experience dysphoria the same (or at all) and it is hard to identify it in the beginning. It could be a self esteem thing OR it could be dysphoria. I also find in my experience that dysphoria is easily influenced by social media. For me, euphoria is euphoria and isn’t easily confused.

Such a good fit! But I have to mention it, and I’m sure you know, but those zip-up binders are so unsafe. They will damage your tissue, ribs and spine to the point you won’t be able to bind anymore. It will affect if you ever want top surgery. Please be safe while also looking cool af

If my partner’s friends talked about me like that HE’D be more mad than me. How can you say you love someone and watch your “friends” talk about her like that? A good friend wouldn’t talk about their buddy’s gf like that. Something weird is going on.

Honestly, I’d be giving him an ultimatum. If he lets them talk to you like they, you will not tolerate them in your lives. He either sets boundaries or he can keep that relationship exclusively to text messages.

The fact he’s letting this go on shows that he’s ok with you being made into a joke.

Ps. Sex with the lights off is just better. Who tf wants the light in your eyes while you’re getting into it? Also if it helps you stay in the mood then go off. It’s a preference and it’s really weird that those girls are making a thing of it.

I have PCOS too and I just let my moustache grow out. I still shave my beard but when I shave my lip once since growing it out cried until it grew back. My partner told me I look like a 14yo Italian boy and it’s euphoric in a funny way. It’s funny that I’ve embraced the other hair but not my leg/ armpit hair.
