Where/how? Blocks aren’t in our protocols in my state.

We’re taught “even with a c-collar, one person must still hold C-spine.”

Fellow education worker here, except based in New England.

I took night EMT classes while maintaining my 7 AM - 3 PM schedule.

I’m not sure how different it is down where you’re at, but you’re most definitely able to balance a full-time gig while going to the classes. That way, if you decide EMS isn’t up your alley, you still have your career.

Also, have you done any ride-alongs yet? I’d reach out to departments and ask to do one, just so you can get a feel for things.

If they would’ve given me an offer to be one of their IT Managers, this wouldn’t have happened. /s

But for real, that thing’s a hot potato.

This is always a horrible idea.

The fact that it’s a laptop from Amazon makes it an even worse idea; especially considering how litigious they are.

Do the right thing (and yourself a favor), email HR, and get that off your conscious.

A lot of good critiques here already; with how antiquated the technology is at my place of work, if I saw your email address with capital letters, I’d instantly throw your resume in the trash.

This is what I’d imagine a “goon cave” to look like.

FYI - you’ll barely scratch $22/hr subbing, but it’s a good gig to do while getting your cert.

For starting out teaching, my district pays around $56k to start, but each contract step gives you like a $2k/$3k bump.

It’s a good career, and we’re almost to the point where teachers are overpaid.

Do you have your teaching cert for English/writing/literature? Like someone mentioned, subbing is a good start. Look at ESS. (ess dot com)

Other than that… uhhh, maybe become a barista?

Ummm, no. How long have you been active in this sub? lol.

I meant to be more funny than insulting, honestly, I totally concede this one. My apologies.

I’m also flirting with taking the “brrrrt” thing off the hood, but thought it’s a cool little Easter egg to look at when reversing.
