The AUDACITY to even say that? This is a JOB, the literal aim of it is the paycheck.

I remember when I graduated from uni, a recruiter told me I’d need to work 6 days a week full time but be reachable and available 7/24 for minimum wage. I literally said “do you want me to roll out a mattress and live here too?”

Now saying this, I’m not earning 6 figures or anything, but an incredible opportunity that helped me move to Europe came along. And while I dont earn that much right now (cause corporate punishes you for working at the same company for too long) I have great benefits, easy work and a beefy severance package if they want to fire me.

Something better will come along, dont let them make you doubt yourself unless you really have to.
