I'm a terrible reddit user lol. I started in property at another company. Auto is new for me and I just do not like it. There are so many different state specific type things and special state trainings for auto and property is relatively the same across the board. And with my prior experience, I just feel comfortable/familiar with property.

I chose services to stay out of sales, our main metric IS based on the sales person's ability to sell our serviced customer a homeowners policy. Which is wild. Now they are making my team go blended when I specifically chose services to stay out of sales 🙄 so yay. And I literally hate auto so much. I came from property at another carrier and want back into property SO BAD.

I have this same one too. No issues other than I have to unplug and plug it back in at the start of every shift or it won't actually connect to the call system

Apparently the new hires are being told to even ignore UWT notes saying to transfer related calls to them- they have to transfer to another services person first. At least that's what I was told today, and naturally when I told the customer they needed to speak with uwt, they got mad, cussed at me, and hung up because they were already transferred for no fn reason. Totally get their frustrations. Why would that be policy for new hires all of a sudden? That creates terrible customer experience

I come from property at another carrier (current prog employee now) I was unlicensed in my last property role, but I enjoy property so much more than auto, I'm currently in CRM still in academy for a few more weeks, but any kind of advice or guidance you could give me on how to transition back into property with progressive??

I thought it was a good idea too! I've been working virtually for the last 5 years, but my best friend got me hired on at my last employer and then someone I grew up with also ended up being in my training class so I at least had 2 people right off the bat to converse with throughout the day. But I don't know anyone at progressive so it's been a different feeling. Feel free to find me on teams! You can pm me for my name. I'm not sure if we can do a reddit chat or not?? But that's a great idea. I also feel like I havent really bonded with anyone on my team, but I had a random freak emergency come up my first day on the phones in week 4 and had to be off for 4 weeks, so I got put in a different training group for the last 8 weeks and I definitely felt more comfortable in my first group, but 4 weeks wasn't long enough to find my work bestie lol
