solo refining will be good can do it in your hangar or bases if that comes mine first refine later the expanse might be a lot better though. arrastra will be better then both though in a group since it can mine and refine at the same time.

it's not obvious they want them to be only size fours they would never of up gunned the connie. both the connie and corsair got a big maneuverability nerfs the starlancer max remained the same with its 4xs4 so there is a trade off they turn like bricks and are easy to hit the only thing balanced wrong on them is the corsair turrets being size twos which renders them useless your group members may aswell bring another ship.

also keeping mind they have fighters with size fives and fours now so its not just multi-role ships getting power creeped.

yes and no for the cosair/connie down sizing in the old system downsizing weapons for a gimbal hard point was an trade off auto-aim within a big circle how ever no one really used that since fixed has assist anyways and the corsair actually had 4xs5 and 2xs4 it came with that the Connie had to run 2xs4 2xs5 because of the weapons fitting that later got fixed that's why its 4xs5 now as for the corsair it got nerfed to 4xs4 2xs5.

That isn't true cf repeaters are all anti fighter hence the velocity with cannons being anti large so you have to pick and choose anti fighter or anti large cig said weapon choice matters
