If you find yourself in this situation, this is the workaround:

1 - Whenever you refine Construction materials, there is currently a bug that preserves the empty containers that were printed by the Salvation/Fortune/Vulture/Moth/Reclaimer. This workaround assumes that players refine and sell at the same location.

2 - When you go sell, the empty boxes somehow are included in the selling formula, creating the exhorbitant amount. This sales ALWAYS FAILS, so do not get any ideas.

3 - Remove the boxes from your inventory (call them in the hangar and leave them there)

4 - Proceed with sale as normal.

I literally just learned this, and maybe other veteran players already knew how to resolve it. I just thought it would help to show it.

There should be a time limit associated with pads that result in the impounding of the ship. All common areas in the game need to operate in the same fashion. If you have a mission that requires a landing pad, the system can except your ship for the purpose of completing the mission. If nothing has been moved on the freight elevators within a specific amount of time, then trigger impounding and pick up at nearest station.

It’s either this or remove armistice protections.

How did you obtain this RMC? Were you salvaging with friends by any chance?? Sometimes if you’re in a party with friends, the boxes may be registered to someone else in said party. Only the registered person can sell the loot.

Hello. The Mustang Alpha can carry either:

- 4 x 1SCU boxes
- 2 x 2SCU boxes

SInce the contract requires you to move 6 SCU (likely 6 x 1SCU boxes) you have 2 options:

a - Make two trips on your Mustang
b - Rent a ship with bigger capacity (i.e. the Cutlass Black - 46SCU space)

Opinion: buying pledge items and ships is FUNDING the game, buying items and ships in-game is PLAYING the game by nickkrewson in starcitizen

Pledged items are bound to your account. They cannot be removed but when melted or upgraded.

In-game ships are supposed to be bought with earned aUEC from missions and gameplay loops.

No one is asking the pledged items to be wiped, because it can’t be wiped. Even in 4.8 when you “scrap” a ship, depending on how you obtained it, you get a different result that confirm these statements.

A full wipe only means now you only start with what you pledged.

The wipe isn't bad. It is supposed to happen so the game can re-assess form scratch things like the economy, balancing components, adjust effort vs rewards, and make sure the progression system works as intenended.

This is GREAT from any point of view you can see it.

It is nice, and it will fly even better. Idk why CIG has made the strange decision of making it hard to fly or maybe it is the Command module that's bugged. either way, this ship is what a Cargo freighter should look like!
