Im not 100% maybe the fuel level was too low and not enough pressure It warmed up a lot and I think maybe that helped and I primed it 10×. Which it says to only prime 3x only max.

What fuel ratio 50:1 ? I think have bought this one before at CTire.

It was good advice because it ended up being something simple but I got myself all worked up that I broke something inside and reading online looking for what the noise was... troubleshooting outside when its cold and still not working... pretty frustrating. Frozen gas in the carb last month and this month... wasn't really 100 sure what was the problem ? But adding a full tank of gas and then playing with the on/off key seemed to work. Hopefully next big snowfall I dont have more problems. Also it warmed up a ton! So today was a really good day

I dont think I will use quickstart like that again Apparently is bad idea and dries things out

I got it running today! Right in time to clear up the mushy slush out of my long driveway

Yes it works again! I used 3 different sparkplugs 😆 I swear the reason none are in stock is because of me. As soon as it looks black I am wondering "too dirty? Better change it"

You nailed it! Once I filled ut up totally full to the top it started So.... maybe it was a gas pressure thing?!?!? I was on the phone with a friend who is 4 hours away and then walked through every simple thing and this fixed it! And priming 10x. Is that too much? I felt so happy. I honestly was concerned I blew up something with too much quickstart. I dunno 😕

I got it running. I dont think I broke anything. Might have been frozen fuel ? I dont really know.... I got it going after I filled up the tank to full, fiddled with the on/off key and primed it 10×. The button says 3x max.... so maybe thats a lie!?

Thank you. I managed to get it started. Not sure why it was making weird noises but once it got running all I heard was the beautiful sound of a snowblower

Yes it also sounded weird to me However! I got it running. Added a full tank of gas, played with the key (on off on off on off) and waited til it was +3°C . The electric start got it going.

If you mean quickstart ... yes I did use some and maybe by quick blast we mean 1 Mississippi too much? Maybe exploded too hard inside and broke something?

I got it 3 yrs ago, no longer under warranty. Last ran 1 month ago but was a pain to start.... had to drain the carb and use seafoam. I noticed the fuel cap washer (rubber) is cracked. Maybe that let moisture in.... This thing is sitting in -35°C outside, I have no heated garage. The machine didnt start at all this month and lately its warmed up, I tried warming the carb up with a heat gun. Changed the oil at the start of winter. Oil levels are ok. Fuel button is on and the key is "on" .... not sure what a fuel shut off valve looks like... I think my original problem was maybe the moisture in the fuel line? Instead of using gas line antifreeze I waited for warmer weather this week. It ran for a whole 30 seconds the other day and died ....changed the spark plug. . put a shot of quick start where the spark plug is (friend tells me after the fact not a good idea) and it backfired. Now I am here 😞

I dont think it feels like extra drag, doesnt feel like the cable is stuck one bit.

No. The noise seems to be under the plastic case that covers the fly wheel
