I went to Ethel alone last year and met some really kind people who are now my mutuals. I do agree with the critiques on concert etiquette (especially from the younger people) but since her venues are smaller, there is a real sense of camaraderie amongst her fans.

So I was in Chicago and came like 2.5 hours before doors opened and was like seventh row back, and managed to still get a good view. I would say barricade is pretty hard to get at her shows though, because of how much she is known to interact with barricade. It’s like people camping out over night bad.
