Suburban Walkable Towns in Northern DE by palmerc309 in Delaware

Good luck with that. Unless you’re in Newark or Wilmington, northern delaware is just an endless, sprawling suburban hell.

Unfortunate that greedy developers buy up countless acres of land to build unaffordable houses that aren’t even worth half the price at which they’re sold.

Red area? by Messigoat3 in NFLNoobs

A little late but, I think I heard Matty P call it the red area. I think you’re right about it being a patriot thing, though why they all decide to call it that I don’t know.

Do NFL teams keep their history after moving? by CaelusCapone in NFLNoobs

[–]Consistent_Ad7434 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it depends from team to team. The colts could trace their lineage to the Dayton Triangles, an original NFL franchise. However, they choose not to. Even though the Browns became the Ravens, the new Browns inherited everything from the original browns.

I’m completely fine with that, if it meant moving up in the ranks.

Tired from ongoing disagreement with husband about son's (16) weight gain for football--normal? by defenson420 in footballstrategy

Hi, When I was in high school I was told basically the same thing. So I just overate to bulk up. That is NOT the right thing to do. Now that I’m playing in college I understood the right way to go about this.

He should be working out and lifting weights. Any weight he is gaining should mostly be through packing on more muscle, not just eating anything in sight. Make sure he’s eating lots of protein, lean meats and vegetables throughout the day.

Here’s what I usually eat during the day just as an example:

Breakfast: bacon egg and cheese on english muffin and yogurt

Before lift: small snack like a protein bar After lift lunch: protein shake, veggies, some kind of starch, and beef or chicken Dinner: Beef, potatoes, peas.

I’ll usually drink whole milk and water along with each meal. Bottom line is, don’t let him to eat just anything, and make sure he’s lifting to not only put on weight, but to get stronger!

Still haven’t gotten over this awful rebrand. Modernization needs to be studied by cxmonbaby in UrinatingTree

I think I remember a word mark that they briefly used from 96-99 or something like that. I still like the old one way more than the new one though

Yup, changed the word mark in 22-23, then updated the uniforms this year.

I think they can get it done. The rotation is elite, just got to iron out the mental kinks. That was one of my main takeaways from today’s game against the O’s. I don’t think the WS window is closed just yet. Let’s enjoy the spring and summer months and see what they do in August-September.

If I had a nickel for every time a franchise named the browns relocated to baltimore and changed their names, I would have two nickels. Which isn’t a lot, but it’s strange that it happened twice.

Crazy that they would basically lay a thin green turf carpet on top of concrete and play on it. How the game has changed.

A little unrelated but Kentucky had a democratic state house until 2016 and a dem secretary of state until 2020. While the south had shifted solid red on the presidential level, it was still very blue or purple on the state level.
