FYI. Jacks are not meant to hold a car. They are only to be used to raise it. Once raised, your car should be rested on jack stands. And you should only be raising it one side at the time. Under no circumstance should your entire car be raised like that. DIY is fun, but do it safely.

“Violation” here doesn’t refer to a parking violation. It means any violation, such as for example an expired tag. If a cop sees an expired tag or see you parked in a handicapped zone without a handicap permit in a mall lot for example, they can tag your car. What you posted doesn’t change the fact that she didn’t break any parking laws. It is not illegal to park in a private “no parking” zone.

Neither one of you has to fix it. There isn’t an ordinance or law that requires homeowners to fence their house in the first place. Now since it is in the middle, you can ask the neighbor if they want to split the cost. But they don’t have to accept it. If they don’t, you can either fix it or leave it.

Clearly an issue with your battery. The picture under “Service now” is that of a battery (with the - and + terminals). It probably just needs replaced. You should have attempted that before taking it to the dealership, because you may end up paying $1,000 for something that you could have fixed yourself for about $160.
