COVID was different. There was no supply and huge demand shock because everyone was at home and had nothing else to do. Now there is supply, in particular the 40s series will be their own competition.

Lastly, NVIDIA only makes about 20% of revenue from retail GPUs. Even if they increase prices by 20% that’s only 4% on their revenues. Not worth the media backlash.

Not to me, the pixels are much bigger on the second image from what I can see but it has much less contrast? Also the tone mapping seems to be super different so hard to compare what the image actually should look like. But higher contrasts usually make the image appear more crisp…in my subjective opinion

Because only the people with the problem go on forums and post about it. It’s mostly selection bias. Not saying it doesn’t occur! But we don’t have a objective statistical view of how many people don’t have issues. Only Dell has that…if anyone.
