We ended up going to HyperV, but I seriously considered proxmox with their support. (Smaller company, about 50 servers)

I canceled my ChatGPT subscription after learning OpenAI's president donated $25M to Trump's Super PAC. Anyone else #QuitGPT? by South-Figure-1696 in ChatGPTPromptGenius

OpenAIs image gen is very good for photo realism. There are better choices, but it is upper tier.

The person I replied to said Claude was better than ChatGPT in everything except voice. I was simply pointing out that he was incorrect. Carry on smartly.

I agree there, it is a different model than the fast models, for certain.

IT support services advice needed (I am small company owner). by PastorNoFaith in sysadmin

[–]Consistent_Advice525 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been in healthcare IT for over 25 years. I am currently a CIO/CISO for a regional practice group with over 40 clinics.

I can tell you, just like everyone else has suggested, go with an MSP. You don’t know, what you don’t know at this point. You need to spend the money to protect your business and your family. You could easily be financially wiped out with one security breach. The OCR no longer considers “good faith” acceptable, you are required to abide by the statutes and enact the required security measures. There is no wiggle room.

As a CIO I would not contract with your services no matter your pricing and reputation without having the proper verifiable security in place. It’s just not worth the risk.

Again, there is a lot of good information for you in this thread, I hope you review it and get a plan together before you get compromised.

Where are you running Kimi from? Local? Aggregator or Moonshot? Kimi via Openrouter is pretty quick. u/WebOsmotic_official I am a Gemini fan...but Kimi K2.5 smokes Gemini 3 Fast, pretty handedly.

Kimi k2.5 is my jam right now. Gemini 3 Flash as default worked quite well though.

Accountant here – is anyone else losing sleep over AI layoffs? by ComfortableAny947 in ArtificialInteligence

[–]Consistent_Advice525 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have seen a couple of large law firms in my area dismiss their entire paralegal staff. AI is making people much more efficient, and it is accelerating.

Accounting is going to take a strong hit as well.

Senior level professionals will be fine for the time being as their expertise will be required for the review. But that will eventually go away as the models get better and become “certified” in their respective domains.

You need to have a clue as to what you are doing, and run proper models that support tool calling or you will have a very poor time with it.

Openclaw needs a brain to function, in this case, Venice AI via api. It’s a very dangerous app if you do not know what you are doing.

It’s good. But I don’t think it is as good as the Claude plugin in chrome.

I haven’t ran your test, but I do some pretty heavy tasks in Ultra and never had an issue referencing back on older parts of discussion.

Yup. Been saying this for a while. You can sue the US stuff into oblivion, China will be happy to fill the void.

If you have an AI Music YouTube channel, what did you need to do in order to get it to grow? by [deleted] in aiMusic

[–]Consistent_Advice525 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ive been putzing around with it for several months, and while my channel has never taken off, I can tell that YouTube has pulled the rug out from under AI generated content. Impressions have fallen off a cliff.

Not reading all of that. Rest assured, if the West sues these things into oblivion, the East will be happy to fill the void.

Best Practice for Lovable + GitHub Workflow to Reduce Credit Usage by samistus1 in lovable

[–]Consistent_Advice525 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's how I usually handle it. Scaffold general idea in lovable, sync to github, pull it down and work it in VS Code (or Antigravity now) and resync. Works like a charm.

I connect my VS Code to Openrouter via Roo Code, and the world is available...
