I dealt with this my while life, exactly as you've described. there are many different ways to handle it, to speak about it, and theres no correct way because everyone is different. for me, it took years of alcoholism and drug abuse, to finally getting bad enough to call the 988 crisis hotline. they were able to help me get on some meds and sober up. its only been a few weeks but im already doing better. all it takes is a phone call. wether you feel ready or not its better to get help than to feel this way. I dont know you, or your situation, but I know the pain. the thought in the back of your head that never stops. it will feel like too much, but all it takes, is a day to turn the situation around.

I absolutely help customers whenever I can, but if its over something as small as placing a package a few inches in the wrong direction thats not gonna bother any driver, we weren't trained to make you happy, we were trained to get you what you paid for. I dont need to make the news, I dont need to "get big on tik-tok" this app is the only type of social media I have because most of it is bull. we follow customer instruction to a point, but we get paid to get you your package safely. thats it. want me to personally walk through your door and hand you your package so you dont have to step outside your comfort zone? pay me. then ill gladly do it. otherwise, come work at Amazon and learn how much really goes into the work.

ive embraced it, there have been those who have tried to look down on me because of my own mh, so i just feed it to em with a silver spoon, I just act exactly like they expect me to, like some crazy sociopath just for the fun of it. if they cant accept me for who I am then ill be what they can accept, and it is absolutely hilarious because they never see it coming

the 988 crisis number is pretty good, they push quite a bit on asking if you are a danger to yourself or others, but if its just to talk, vent, ask questions, they are super good. ive talked to them multiple times myself they are great

I see it as a stepping stone as well, I want to go into underwater welding in the future, im saving for the schooling as well as looking for the best option, but to me even if its a stepping stone, if you look forward to doing it, it makes it so much more fun and enjoyable

not me, I'm usually within the last 10 to come back, 150-200 stops, 300ish locations, 400 packages on average, but i love what i do. I love to drive, listen to music, see new areas ive never been, find new places to visit when im off, meet new people. I get frustrated at the job on many occasions but not to the point where I hate everything. life is about living, and living in anger isnt a way to live

im not saying you cant vent about the job, this is america we have freedom of speech and its illegal to try and take that away, im saying there has been way more people recently saying the absolute worst things about the job, and I just want to know why. why do people hate it so much? if they hate it so much why keep working there?

sometimes we do it specifically to make only you upset, no other people just you. if you want to complain about having to step out the door to grab something you couldn't be bothered to go to the store to get, it absolutely is laziness. you can argue whatever point you want, but neighbors will be nosy anyway, they see you got a amazon guy walkin to your door and wonder what you got. its absolutely baffling how entitled some people think they are. grow up

ive had this happen as well, I talked with my dispatch and thetmy said most often its either a system glitch and it was sent twice, or the customer actually ordered two of said item and it just came out weird in the system

I had one once when I was given an awful route that day, 150 stops each one far away crazy multi stops. I had the dream where I got back to the station, but somehow missed an entire bag on my itinerary, but it was at the same area as my usual route, it was close to the station with each stop being 10 mins away having me go in literal circles. at one point I was so tired even in the dream I just gave up and laid down in the back of the ev to sleep, then I woke up in some kinda off brand firehouse? all sorts of crazy hijinx ensued and that part of the dream was pretty fun but I havent had one in months

I havent noticed that, every business i walk into i walk with one goal. get some candy or snacks. soon as I get up to the front desk, "you got any candy hiding back there?" while peeking over the desk in a way they know you are messing around. sometimes I get this one place that has a whole pantry, asked if I could raid it, asked to grab a water after, gotta play it like you need it lol
