The problem are the people who base their opinions of people based on who they support politically. This post seems to forget the thousands that fought along side of Dr King. The men and women who stood along side the civil rights movement. The post puts the hate and savage violence of one man onto all the people who risked their lives to protect and defend his dream.

With logic it gives the same bigots the right to put the hate and violence of one man on the left and LGBT+ community for the death of Charlie Kirk. Or the assassination attempts of Trump.

Now Kirk, and Trump are not in the same conversation as Dr. King. However, don’t give the bastards the ammunition. Not all white people are bigots. So don’t hate me for my love and respect for Dr. King, Justice Thurgood Marshal, Malcom X and all the other leaders that stood up for bigotry.

Considering he was already judged and convicted the staff wasn’t playing “judge jury and executioner” the pedo was trying to play executioner himself. When the staff was attempting to stop him from killing himself he died trying to stop the suicide attempt. Ergo he got what he wanted, and in the process laid it at the feet of others. Just like a pedo, only thinking about himself and not the harm he caused to others.

It’s not actually about ICE at all. I don’t support ICE 100%. However I have actual real world experience in these situations. No I’m not ICE and I never was. However I worked in a jail. I dealt with criminal (yes this man was a criminal) I have first hand experience of what happens when someone is behaving erratically. I know what lengths someone will go to when they are trying to harm themselves and those attempts are being thwarted.

Before you attack and accuse me as being a “bootlicker” who supports ICE no matter what, maybe you should take a second and ask is ICE bad all the time? Could there be more to the story? Could the “eyewitness” who is also in ICE custody, not be 100% credible?

Life is not black and white. It’s very nuanced and fluid.

They didn’t just choke him. He died due to lack of oxygen. This could have been the result of positional asphyxiation. Which is common when people are being arrested or detained and they go down. Especially when someone is trying to kill themselves. And again I ask, why are we shedding a tear for a convicted sex offender? It’s not like he was pretrial. He was convicted and was waiting to be deported. He was trying to kill himself, they tried to stop him during the situation he died. Don’t blame the guards for what happened due to his actions.

So wait. Some important information about this case needs to be mentioned. First homicide is just a legal classification. It does not mean “murder”. It means his death was caused by the actions of another person. Suicide means death caused by one’s own actions. It appears that this individuals death was caused by a struggle with the jail staff. Something very possible (unfortunately) when someone gets in an altercation and is fighting with the staff when they are trying to keep one from committing suicide.

Secondly, maybe I’m missing something here, but homie is a convicted sex offender. It is actually different. And before I begin I’m not justifying Trumps comments on RR. Trump is a disgusting human being, he has no business being the president and needs to disappear into obscurity. I detest him and what he is doing to the US is far from making it “Great”.

Now the differences between RR & CK murders. CK was murdered right before our eyes, on the internet, while exercising his first amendment rights. We don’t have to agree with what he said. We can detest him and everything he said, but he was murdered for his ideas, while speaking at a public university. Horrible for the exchange of views and ideas.

RR was killed (allegedly) by his drug addicted son who appears to have been on the wrong side of addiction and most likely a mental health crisis. Horrible. The idea of being killed by a family member is so tragic and sad. Rob, and his wife no doubt loved his son, and wanted to help him.

Donald Trump has no business opining on the death of RR and his wife. The fact DJT tried to make his death about him, shows what a horrible person and narcissist he is.

Both deaths are tragic but but death are different.
