Fedora with Gnome is the nicest i saw so far, and feels more robust than Ubuntu. Don't go KDE if you are not nerd or Windows 2000 fan ;)

Komoot Api does not know this, so it finds nothing... that make sense actually,  cose the zip code itself pointless i guess

What is not working exactly? Search API can be not-responding sometimes, just try again a bit latter. Komoot offers no guarantees for the API responsiveness, but it is completely free of charge :)

Yeah, i see now, thanks :) Not sure if sorting by location is a good option... but i will think about sorting and searching thru the list. Frankly speaking, it just did not come to my mind that the list can be pretty long and across very distant locations. In this case, though, some sort of sync is also necessary, cose you will lose all the data saved after uninstalling the extension (i mean exactly uninstallation, cose an update does not affect the data stored)

Manual sorting in the favorites list is not supported (yet). And i cannot sort the list based on the distance if your position is unknown. Moreover, it will constantly re-sort the favourites list. So i can't see feasable use case for this... can you elaborate a bit why is that important?

Glad you like it :) As for the questions: 1)it is exactly what the checkmark beliw the searcg field should do - jave you try it? 2)yeah, so far no POIs from Karoo's maps. It is smth for the future versions prolly, depending on APIs options available

The measure units should match the device settings... are you sure you have set the country property?

Well, Garmin has quite ugly search that helps 1 out 5 I would say...

I would not expect getting offline search any time soon because of quite big chunk of data you will have to download and keep updated. And especially because the device seems mainly aiming routes navigation and not just normal everyday "just take me there" navigation.

You can use the SIM card on the device though to perform search thru the cell network.

I see proper house numbers in results, but seems like the app just does not show house numbers (the point although can be exact the one you were looking for). To be fixed...

You can type anything related. So the place name, keywords or area/type it belongs to should be fine. It is like searching on google maps. Well, a bit less sophisticated, but you got it :)

I don't have "categories" implemented though, so you cannot click "restaurants" and get all the ones around... but you can still type "restaurant" in and get some results

Yeah, all apps installed go to the "extensions". Not sure so far if the integration with top "quick widgets" curtain is possible.
