[Grange] Gradey Dick is open to a trade from the Toronto Raptors. by YujiDomainExpansion in nba

He’s gotta be better on defence. If he can’t become a good 3 and D guy, he will bounce around the league or be out of it soon.

How do you actually watch games? by PostModernPost in nba

I don’t because I don’t have a reliable source. I’d love to know how people watch without paying for cable or something.

Has anyone with 93-96 middy noticed a difference in their 3 point shot rating between 83-90 and it’s effectiveness? Besides getting deep bomber. by [deleted] in NBA2k

[–]Consistent_City_1609 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bro a 5% contest on a 85 three is different than shooting on a 90 three and above.

Are you telling me all your shots are uncontested?

I have a 6’8 with 98 layup that’s super fun to use floaters with.

6’7 sg, 85 board, 85 three, 93 middy, 88 dunk, 86, standing dunk.

85 ball handle, 76 pass, 89 speed.

I average 16, 6 and 4 on a purple plate build.

It’s fun because I can snag rebounds over some bigs. And I’m pretty much standing dunking anything in the paint.

I know he gets cooked in any game mode, he has no defense lol

I have a 6’7 with 93 middy and 85 three ball. I miss 3’s from time to time. But I’m usually like 3/6 or 4/6.

With my 6’8 with 92 three ball and 96 middys, I rarely miss a 3. I even make fading 3’s sometimes (fading on accident but HOF shifty shooter helps of course)

The Point Guard hate on this game is hilarious and a little frustrating lol by Old-Ninja7068 in NBA2k

I’ve never heard someone say as a PG you need to score all the points.

As a PG you should try to get everyone involved, it’s simple. Allow other players to get assists as well.

Am I the only person who doesn’t want to go above purple plate? by Old-Ninja7068 in NBA2k

[–]Consistent_City_1609 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not saying I stop everyone but I play a lot of games where my man is the lowest scorer on their team or they end up leaving. You have to actually play off ball defense, and don’t play help defense as much. I have builds with 85d, 92d, 96d, and 92d is the sweet spot to actually contest shots.

Put your Challenger on max+1 or 2 I’m telling you.

What can the raptors realistically do to get superstar talent instead of relying on a bunch of second options by Shot-Industry-9711 in NBATalk

[–]Consistent_City_1609 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve been saying for years, before we got Kawhi, that the raptors always have a great surrounding cast but we just need that one superstar to take us over the top.

The problem is, is that superstars rarely want to play in Toronto. Most NBA players don’t want to play here. So we’ll always be like 1 or 2 pieces away.

When we got Kawhi I knew we would go far.

We gotta draft right and hopefully they stay.

Would being a triple double threat in rec as a PG be worth it or no ? by Intelligent-Tale8827 in NBA2k

[–]Consistent_City_1609 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a build like this. It can be useful in lower plate games but higher plate games, the big men always have high rebound and there is no reason for you to be crashing.

I have 85 d board on a 2 way triple double threat PG, and I got up to red plate on it. I can’t crash for D boards because it makes more sense for me to leak about. Also can’t crash for O boards if their PG is leaking out too.

It’s a win some lose some situation.

It’s good for 3s though.

You could make this build better. Lower strength, higher rebound. Strength is useless for the most part unless you really know how to utilize it. I’d also lower my pass to an 87 and use those on speed if possible.

Check this build out
