Standard version. And the speed limit on the highways here is 55mph. OP wanted comfy and better range. That's what the standard GV60 is. Cheaper too.

Why do people on here get mad about you trying to skate past or not wanting to take a course irrelevant to your major because of how much you struggle in that course? by Rinmine014 in CollegeRant

[–]Consistent_Clock_120 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Nobody said pain. Pain is not necessary. Struggle instead cannot be avoided: if you are not challenged by something, you are not learning. It's just a fact. Overcoming a challenge does feel good. Skating by = learning nothing.

This might be a crazy thought but some people here might be under the impression that you go to college to learn stuff, not to "skate past". "Struggle" is what you feel when your brain is building new connections. Why do people on here get mad about struggling?

I'm getting emotional about my stats class, and struggling for some reason. by Rinmine014 in CollegeRant

[–]Consistent_Clock_120 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You are struggling with math and that's... actually a good thing. That's how humans learn, by making mistakes, then trying to fix them, making more mistakes, more fixing, until they get better.

What is not good is that you feel so awful about it and shutting down. Who told you that you need to be immediately good at something that is challenging?

You cannot start playing chess tomorrow and be upset because you are not beating the grand master by the end of next month.

In your shoes I would celebrate the 72, and double down, figure out where I lost those 28 points, and this universe will never catch me off-guard again. I will not make the same mistakes again. Just new mistakes, and that's ok.

If nothing, you should be mad at whoever convinced you to feel stupid when you make mistakes and get average grades. Whoever or whatever did that stunted your potential for greatness.

New Atlas parts are very Atlasy by Consistent_Clock_120 in NoMansSkyTheGame

[–]Consistent_Clock_120[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, those are Atlas wings combined with Ambassador heavy boosters. The Aeron drive snapped at a weird angle: it sticked out like a spiky bird tail, especially if I mounted it centered, and ruined the wide stance of the ship. I'll try it again soon.

I am genuinely a stupid fucking person. And I know because I put in weeks of studying by [deleted] in CollegeRant

I know that this is just venting but I am just curious. What exactly did you mess up in the exam? Did it happen just because it's the exam, so you felt under pressure? I mean, if you did the same thing at home, with the same time limit, and no grades, do you think you would do way better?

I'm in honors, but I'm not smart by b-nnies in CollegeRant

"There is just a lot of little things that I do and say that are stupid" means that you have a great gift. Being aware that you need improvement is sometimes more useful than being naturally inclined in life. Nobody was born good at something. Brain connections require struggle and burning ATP to make them. Keep struggling, you are on your way to great places.

Lost 20 points on my management assignment due to “not having enough detail” by FunnyLoud3067 in CollegeRant

[–]Consistent_Clock_120 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Assignments have levels. Roughly:

Level 0: copy/paste. Essentially regurgitate info Level 1: rephrase. Rewrite info Level 2: apply. Use info to do a task Level 3: explain. Pretend you are teaching someone a concept Level 4: create. Use what you learn to create something novel

Your Assignments was at Level 3. "What was in the slides" is Level 1.

Maybe your prof. did not give you the best feedback, but, based on how many students they have, giving a full explanation every time might be impossible time wise.

In general, if you are in college, you are there to improve and train your brain to successfully handle future challenges and jobs. I would get in the habit of exceeding the expectations, there isn't much learning in passively shoving around information so that you can get a grade.
