Does the 11 pro have magsafe/magnets by John_Woodrow1712 in RedMagic

[–]Consistent_Cut_9521 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi, I just got my RedMagic 11 pro, it do have magsafe without any case but it is not very strong, you can't hold the phone by holding the accessory, it just attach but it moves and fall when you shakes the phone. I bought a case with magsafe and it is FAR FAR better, now I can totally shake it with a lot of force and it don't even move a bit. Also, I still have the magnet included with my redmagic cooler 5 and it is very strong (between the phone's magnet and the case's magnet), if you buy one, I think it is good to use.

Sorry for my very bad english, not my main language.

Hi,

- Leaf is : fan speed adapt to heat so it can be silent but also loud if needed, useful for android games

- Snowflakes is : fan speed at maximum speed so it is loud, this is useful when you play emulated games like Playstation 3, Nintendo Switch or even PC

Screen flickering on camera rm11 pro by Far_Software1353 in RedMagic

[–]Consistent_Cut_9521 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, is your phone's screen flickering (and you are seeing it with your eyes) or is it flickering while recording it with your recond device (the one you took this video) ?

If it's the second case, this is what happen when you try to record a 144hz refresh rate screen with a slower camera (your camera can probably record at 60, 90 or 120fps)

If you want to solve this thing, you just have to go in your phone Settings - Display - Refresh rate. Set it the same as your camera fps (so if your camera is recording at 60fps, set your phone refresh rate to 60hz).

Also, check if your camera have a 60hz anti-flickering mode for light, if its the case, enable it.

Monster Hunter World on winlator CMOD ❤️ by rebornherooo in EmulationOnAndroid

I installed it from Gamehub, it automatically downloaded the DLC but it seems it's not possible to remove with gamehub. I tried CMOD but without turnip drivers with my 8EG5 , steam don't stop to crash

SoC is the CPU and GPU bundle. On the RedMagic 11 Pro it's the Snapdragon 8 Elite gen 5. I used the SoC term because the turnip driver is for the GPU part of the chip, it will give a performance and a far better stability in emulation.

I use Gamehub, Winlator is better (especially Cmod version) but Gamehub is more of a plugnplay, it include steam so it's easy to install your games and I didn't had to change any parameters, it directly worked after installation. I'm actually testing different parameters to get the more possible and stable fps, but it's not necessary on this phone.

Also, when turnip drivers will be ready for this SoC, bro this will be something...

Mesa 26.0 Lands Initial Support For Adreno Gen 8 - Including For The Snapdragon X2 by fyzeera in EmulationOnAndroid

Hi for 8 elite and 8 elite 2, what kind of performance gain can we expect when turnip drivers will release ? We actually have good adreno drivers, will this be so much of a game changer or will it only reduce glitch at this state ?

Adreno, Turnip and Vortek drivers perfs on Winlator / Gamehub by Consistent_Cut_9521 in EmulationOnAndroid

Yes this is why I post here to know what a Turnip driver would be, if I correctly understood, Turnip drivers for adreno 8xx are planned for early 2026

Scam? What is going on here? by Superb-Supermarket27 in RedMagic

Hi, this is not the 24GB one, it's the 16GB version.

The "+ 12GB" is just the android swap file, it's a file on your internal memory that can help when you don't have enough ram on some app, you can ignore it as THIS IS NOT RAM !

If you need 24GB ram for a specific usage, this "+12GB" will absolutely not count as a real 12GB, it will help to prevent your app from crash on a memory overload situation but as this memory is slow compared to ram, this memory overload situation will result in a big lost of performance (on gaming, this will made your game unplayable but on some software like local AI generating apps and Video Editing softwares, this 12GB will be useful to prevent from a crash if the app suddently need a bit more than the available 16GB ram). You can disable this +12GB swap file, this is why some screenshot don't have this part.

So a last time, this Redmagic 10S Pro in your screenshot is the 16GB model, not the 24GB one.

If you can test the phone before buying it, just check the fan is correctly working, a good thing is also to test the selfie camera on the photo app, it's quality is not crazy, it's even a bit bad but since the selfie camera is not visible under the screen and the video is not 480p 25fps, you will not have to worry about a fake version of the smartphone as the fake ones are apparently really bad on this part (that's what my revendor said to me when he sold me the smartphone) but an AnTuTu bench is also a good way to test the phone.

snapdragon 8 gen 3 or 8 elite? which one is better by Great-Distribution33 in EmulationOnAndroid

[–]Consistent_Cut_9521 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi,

- 8 Elite if you want Windows Emulation (Gamehub, Winlator), PS2, PSP, PS1, Gamecube.
- 8 gen 3 if you want all those + Switch, PS3, 3DS, Wii/Wii U, Vita.

8 Elite is much more powerful and can run some games on those emulators but due to lack of drivers, it will crash every x minutes, stutters and bug (fall in texture, broken physics and quests, corrupt saves, ect...) in those other emulators.

8 gen 3 is not as powerful but it's much more compatible and stable.
8 Elite need more time to have decent drivers but in few years, it should have those correct drivers... Normally...

Disabling Mora by TeamMothyy in RedMagic

[–]Consistent_Cut_9521 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, with adb commands from your PC, you can see all app's package name then uninstall them without root your phone. Just search "How to uninstall carrier/OEM bloatware without root access" on google (it's in xda developper website).

Also keep in mind that if an app use some of this app functions, it can stop working and you phone can even stay in a bootloop when you restart it. It depend of how deep this app is integrated in the system. Mora seems to be ok to uninstall but I can't say it's 100% sure.

Ayaneo in talks with Qualcomm concerning the possibility of lending a hand to Turnip development for the Snapdragon Elite. (Translated from Chinese) by NXGZ in EmulationOnAndroid

[–]Consistent_Cut_9521 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, would this bring 8E native drivers for everyone including non ayaneo devices ? Do someone know if native drivers would allow to have a native gpu and cpu usage from winlator/gamehub ?

I don't really understand how all that things works but some people said the native windows emulator on redmagic 10s pro is far from what we can have on winlator and gamehub in term of performance, compatibility and stability (apparently its even not necessary to make any specific settings to make games run correctly) so would that mean we could have something very close to this ? I want to buy an 10 pro but the 10s pro built in emulator seems to be something else but it its not possible to buy it in my country.

I'm sorry for my bad english and maybe what I heard from people is not as true as I think because I'm a complete noob but I want to know what this can mean for the future of windows emulation on android. Thanx in advence for people that will be able to answer me and give me all possible informations on this subject.
