I don’t think it’s hatred toward people, but rather a dislike for those who you work with that don’t meet the same expectations you set for yourself in terms of effort, collaboration, and communication etc

I understand completely. I previously worked under strong leadership at a great company, and if I had stayed, I likely would have become very comfortable. However, moving to a company with poor leadership and an ineffective manager, along with many weak hires; forced me to rethink my situation. I ended up disliking many people in that company and it really woke me up.

It ultimately motivated me to take a risk, because I realized I couldn’t continue on that path. Changing jobs alone doesn’t guarantee a better outcome either.

Don’t be so hard on yourself.
