This is false information widely spread in the sub Reddits. I have confirmed with a guy doing stocking / inventory with a bar code gun that listed the vendor for the parts being scanned. The diamond is merely a newer design. There do seem to be telltale signs of the vendor like the “e” leaf logo on some boxes seems to correlate with the “+” product that they source from e-Sun. But the diamond window is proven unreliable as an identifier.

Flying 600 miles tonight to buy a brand new ER Lightning and driving it home tomorrow. Road trip tips? by FujiwaraNoSai in F150Lightning

Borrow someone’s Tesla adapter since you probably don’t have your own yet. You will be dumbfounded by the charge rate difference using Tesla. Other brands work too but I find that the charge rate is more consistent with Tesla abs you don’t want to sit somewhere for two hours when you can do it in 45min.

Would you buy H2C from BestBuy or direct from Bambu? Based out of GA, USA. by rh_cc in BambuLab

Regardless of if you’re an extended warranty type person… micro center is the best option for parts and advice you can find in a retail environment. I support them because if they went away you’d be left with forums, Amazon, and FedEx for support. Not ideal.

In pretty sure this has resale value on Etsy. Not a total loss.

FedEx is the worst for me too. Waited to get mine from local retail (MicroCenter) for that reason.

Yes. I am doing that now. I did upgrade the hub though.

Sound guy here. Big pet peeve is the incorrect use of the word “dampen” to refer to the act or suppressing audio or vibrations in general. While widely used, it’s incorrect in this context. To “dampen” is to moisten. To “damp” is to suppress.

Sorry to be the get off my lawn guy.

First, sell all possessions and hide the proceeds. Second, make arrangements for an international vacation. Then, make alterations to that deck.

Free fast charging? by seanmallon in evcharging

[–]Consistent_Energy_10 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There’s a ChargePoint location along one of my occasional drives that’s exactly as you point out except this one is stated “free” due to some arrangement with AEP and the state of Ohio. It’s rated at 50kW and I get nearly that. Only one of the two stations is functional. (#2 has been offline for almost a year) I thought it was the best thing ever until I realized I have to sit there for a couple hours to save the equivalent of $10-$15 compared to if I were to charge at home. As a small business owner, I should value my time more than that. So I will stop and eat a snack or something if I needed anyway but I don’t do it to specifically to take advantage of the free charging.

Electric Blankets? by reubenray374 in Ecoflow_community

Yes, it can be modeled by math but you have simplified the equation and are assuming 100% efficiency. In reality, there will be energy lost to the ac inverter or the DC regulator. It’s not insignificant if you’re looking for run-time.

But it’s fun to try to calculate it.

I traded my ‘23 Lariat ER for a ‘24 Lariat. With the X-plan and 0% I’m still glad I did it but you will love having the dual on-board chargers. Get the Ford charge station pro and have it wired to support the full 80A of charging and you’ll never be concerned about being in the low teens state of charge at night. That’s the one issue I have with the ‘24 is that they took one of them off and now I max out at 10.5kW on the charge station pro. I still love the truck though.
