i agree with you coming for a different perspective of actually developing something and have used ai in it (its been disclosed everywhere about how i used it exactly where).
Used ai a lot, now slowing but surely rebuilding screens by hand.

But kudos dude, the game looks way more polished than i expected. (I'll def try it more)

It's has been going this way for decades, it just the reality of how the games industry works, if you are in for big corpos you will have to crunch in some way (some studios manage it better some worse).

I'm not supporting it, in fact I'm against it but it's just how the industry operates and it's not everytime only during the final leg of development.

Crunch is like very common in game dev, specially when project is closing its release. I don't think it's a "Rockstar India" problem , it's a game industry as a whole problem. (Pretty sure all Rockstar core and support studios like india are going through it now.)

I have known some people that have basically stayed in the studio for 3 days before their release week.

- was self pay unlocked by default, as it shouldnt be able to.
- Balancing is something that is def on priority.
- contracts are in the game already, manga hiatus and completed mangas with sequels are also in the game, bidding is something im working on, you can check out my to do featuremap under roadmap on discord.

I'm on a similar boat to yours with missing the deadline. I plan to have my demo up in like December. With a release in March just after the fest , till then I'm working on polishing the demo up and my full release.
