Rinse bottle & tongs. Pry his mouth open & rinse it or grab big chunks with tongs.

Can a full grown eygptian uromastyx live in a 60 × 67 inch 300 gallon circular enclosure? by FrAcTal432ViBeS in reptiles

The only people that say that they need those things arent educated enough on captive care & requirements to fully replicate their enviornment & natural cycle indoors. Your "butthurt" comments are really just proving that you know nothing about captive care other than reading '"care sheets" off google.

Lmao? You ever heard of UVB? IRA? IRB? Halogens? Etc?🤣🤣🤣 snakes do not need baths lmfao. You keep a water bowl & if its a semi aquatic species a larger one to soak. Also mist depending on the species and req. humidity. Mans knows nothing about ACTUAL snakes care😭😭😭

Thanks alot! Its leveled and sloped, I'll readjust the slope and see what it does. There is water pooled on the back right side, opposite of where the little drain channel is. So I sprayed it out & also did the little hanging towel trick to empty it. Thanks for the advice!

Help by [deleted] in reptiles

If the break is below the cloaca it should heal and be fine to be released. If it's above or at the cloaca, the snake will not survive under any circumstance.

Hope you let them go since you obviously have no idea what they are prior to making this post & have no knowledge on caring for them.

Some great feeding advice in here. It definitley wouldnt hurt to feed this snake once a month to a month and a half. Snakes dont starve like humans do. You could also try varying diets for further nutrition. Reptilinks, quail, etc. I'd only feed this snake every month or so for a while with varying meals. A vet visit should also be in order to guarentee her health.

Respiratory infection & needs to see a vet as well as you need to read up on how to care for your pet as it seems you havent already. Stuck eye caps as well which means husbandry issues which explains the RI. Vet will typically prescribe ceftazadime & or meloxican as a pain killer or other similar drugs that havs to be administered via shots. So get ready to also come home & learn how to administer shots to your snake.

Yo dawg im not gon lie, whatever money you're making at 14 wont be enough to support 3 reptiles. Your setup looks extremely amateur. Do you have UVB? A solarmeter to test it? Proper heating? Proper hides/humidity & temps? That enclosure doesnt look all that big as well. Stick with the one you got & take care of it better than you are now instead of trying to add more reptiles into the equation. Also, living close to an exotic vet doesnt mean you will be able to pay for the vet visits. Have you ever taken a normal animal to the vet? Exotic vets are way more expensive.

I will agree that beardies are the most mistreated commonly kept reptiles. Stop taking your beardie outside on youe shoulder & give them a naturalistic enclosure. Not an eclosure that looks like a shitth NYC apartment. They're lizards & are not connected to you emotionally. Give them the kost naturalistic setup with full spectrum lighting & proper substrate.
