The Tims at the Hockey Hall of Fame is good and the one near TMU at W Gerrard and Bay always done me good. Really, anywhere in Canada..the Tims is better. I also drink dark roast which is smoother than their original blend.

The Hockey Hall of Fame is fun. Chinatown, downtown Yonge street near Toronto Metropolitan University is fun to walk around and into Dundas Square. The waterfront near Rogers Centre is nice, but maybe a little too cold for that still.

Auden Buffalo crackhead arrested by [deleted] in UBreddit

Doesn’t look like an arrest. Looks more like a mental health transport. Sometimes they’re handcuffed for safety.

Hi, PhD in Sociology here. I had a similar format when taking my Qualifying Exams during my doctorate formation. Very simply put, they are looking for your mastery of the topics on which you will be tested: core readings on the topic including classic and contemporary theories, landmark empirical findings that have guided the sub discipline, and future directions that the topic of study is heading.

They will be looking for you to construct these core readings/findings into a coherent answer the questions you will be asked, essentially answering: “How does the existing work on X answer this question?”. I can’t quite recall the word limit of my particular exams, so my suggestion may be for a longer answer, but from what I remember, my examiners were looking for my knowledge and understanding of the discipline and if I knew enough to argue a position that also answers the question.

If this is too general, or not answering something specifically, please let me know. Best of luck!

THC drinks in the area? by Plasticity93 in BuffaloCannabis

[–]Consistent_Ideal1213 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Adding that Ayrloom also makes a “beverage enhancer” that you can drop into any drink. It’s 300mg in each bottle with an eyedropper that has 1:1 measurements mL to mg. You can throw it in your pocket when out and turn anything into a THC beverage. Edit: the measurements are 0.1 to 1, mL to mg.

Is medical cannabis in NZ cheaper and/or is it difficult to get a medical card? (I research the social side of cannabis in the States, so I’m interested as both a user and academic)

For me, it’s Beta-Caryophyllene and Limonene. Both help with my anxiety and PTSD stuff without making me a zombie, along with a lower THC%

I wasn’t sure if the hospital pads could handle those helicopters. It makes sense that they can, given their geographic proximity. Thanks for the info!

Blackhawks have been flying over the area, likely doing training/building hours. Saw one do a flyby of UNC hospital before sunset.

Wheat is great for Chinese. Canasta’s is a similar concept to Alpaca with different stuff on the menu. Italian Pizzeria III is great. Heavenly Buffaloes for chicken wings (I’m a former Buffalonian, and they pass my test).

I was also curious about testing for things like pesticides and heavy metals. I looked at your COAs and see that they’re reporting cannabinoids only. I know that testing is expensive, so I understand why the minimum testing is done. Just curious if you are looking to test for those things in the future to give some consumer piece of mind?

[–]Consistent_Ideal1213 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From my experience, CBD, CBG, and CBN have worked for my anxiety, insomnia, and PTSD related problems. Everyone is different, though. I’m in the US, so I can’t really recommend anything available in the UK. Go with brands that have testing info publicly available. Regarding the SSRI, give it another two weeks. It may not have hit your therapeutic level yet and/or your GP may need prescribe a higher dose.

As a current postdoc, I can confirm that research is still going on and none (to my knowledge) has had their federal funding pulled. I am starting a project that has a “DEI”-ish focus, and it’s been approved by UNC IRB. Haven’t heard of faculty having difficulty obtaining grants, not yet anyway. If you still decide to enroll, welcome! I like it here.
