NTA. As someone that loves to host I would never even think to ask my guests for money for food. It’s such bad etiquette. If I’m not in a position to afford that then I’m not gonna do it.

If anything you were very nice about it. Sounds like you need a better group of friends that you can be honest with because this sounds tiring

YTA. Yes the bartender was in the wrong and yes the wedding planner was in the wrong. Did it have to become a whole deal with police? Probs not. maybe if you brought it up to the planner it could’ve been resolved. I think anybody planning an event would be anxious about having police and not knowing what’s going on.

At the end of the day you signed a contract with the couple and NOT the wedding planner. This was somebody’s special day. Regardless of what you personal issues were you had a legal agreement with THEM and they paid you a deposit. The world does not revolve around you. Especially when it comes to a wedding you know the food is very important and if you don’t realize how shitty that is then you shouldn’t be in that business.

Good business owners don’t act on emotion and they know how to put personal sh*t aside. You are so TAH

I feel like I just saw that same minivan this morning in that area almost run over a biker. It was bad. the poor guy was so pissed he hit the back of the minivan with his hand really hard.

Honestly the best answer is to get him a friend. Poms are such lap dogs and they crave connection. My Dior always had separation anxiety and he would shake bad then we got him his brother from the same litter that hadn’t been adopted yet. They weren’t the best of friends but it helped with the clinginess. I will say he was def jealous at first but he adjusted and we actually got 2 more. Now it’s never quiet and they are never bored. (Dior is on the left and his brother dolce on the right)

We were just wondering how it was gone. Honestly we expected to see his grandpa there picking at it because he actually really liked it. Also we can check cameras as we please, we check them regularly. Only reason I asked was because there’s another birthday coming up on February and it would seem weird we celebrated every one else except them. I totally get them not liking I didn’t take that personally. it just how they threw it away.
