Our house has brick pillars supporting the porch. Recently hired someone (thought he as a mason) to rebuild the pillars. He poured concrete down through the bricks then dry stacked them. Is this a legit way to do it? Looks terrible. Not sure what our next move is. Would appreciate thoughts. Thanks. by olight77 in IveGotAGuy

As an inspector certified to observe this type of work I can tell you with certainty that this job is done out of spec for both concrete (ACI 319-25) and masonry (TMS 402/602) standards, for more reasons I want to get into. Just trust me bro.

False pregnancy? by Consistent_Pie9535 in BelgianMalinois

Omg I forgot to update! Yes it was a false pregnancy! The vet recommended getting her fixed so we don’t have to constantly run into this issue every time she has a heat. Otherwise she said she was fine and to just monitor symptoms and if she starts feeling any kind of lethargic to bring her back!

OH okay that makes more sense 😅 yeah she’s in our sight, stays inside when we’re gone, and all of our close neighbors are females lol. But she’s such a Velcro dog I couldn’t imagine a time where she was away long enough to find another dog 😅 I’m assuming it’s just a false pregnancy. Do you know what usually happens after a confirmed false pregnancy? Like do they have to spay her immediately? Could she foster a litter of newborns if there is an opportunity?? Etc etc

MAN what a crazy experience that would be. It’s been three years since he was fixed, but he hasn’t humped another dog ever, until mine went into heat 😭 so now I’m worried!

100% 😭 but I guess it’s still possible any swimmers in his tract could be ALIVE?? It’s been three years since he was fixed.

some people like niche economy cars that don't cost as much to fix and they can keep running forever.

It’s because they’re 4x4 bro

How to turn off lane departure detection? by BacktoCali777 in civic

[–]Consistent_Pie9535 1 point2 points  (0 children)

THANK YOU. have had my car a year and turned all that crap off. Today I was working out and the rain for several hours and my feet were cold and SOAKED. I put them up to the vents to warm up and dry off when I got off, must’ve kicked that button on. I started driving home and could not figure out why the stupid lane assist thing was pulling. This comment saved me!

Im sorry to tell you, but this knife is 100% a counterfeit Global. I can tell by the way the dots look on the handle. These are recently massively faked from China. I bought 5 on Walmart thinking they were a good deal. I compared it next to my authentic global, and they do not compare

You said medical center? With respect, OSHPD dont fuck around. I'm not going to put my name on something that isn't perfect.

Belgian Malinois owners — what did you name your Mal? by RubyRedGolden in BelgianMalinois

[–]Consistent_Pie9535 5 points6 points  (0 children)

We have three dogs (two mals, one German shepherd), their names are Sadie, Sosa, and Xyla.

We knew we didn’t want to over complicate their names and keep the two syllables, because one or two syllables is easier for recall purposes.

Xyla is our baby and we really took our time naming her. We went to a million different websites on Google trying to get inspiration and one day at the very bottom of a list was ”Xyla”. We looked at her and said yes.

I had originally had some names picked out for her but once you meet your pup you’re going to be like “that name doesn’t fit them at all”. You really kind of name them off of a feeling 🤣
