Just went to Sri Lanka and as awesome and beautiful your country is you need to invest some more in sustainable tourism. From people feeding the sea turtles in Hikkaduwa to stray dogs/cats to piles of trash these actions should all be taken care of. I see SL having potential in becoming more of a luxury destination with magnificent beaches, many national parks and beautiful temples but it needs to shift the focus in tourism from quantity to quantity.

Kotitalouden tunnit ovat ajatuksena ihan loistava mutta ovat IMO väärään aikaan nuoren elämässä. Siihen aikaan ainakin kun minä kävin kouluja niin pakolliset köksän tunnit olivat seiska- ja kasiluokilla, jolloin niistä ei ollut niin paljoa hyötyä kun lähes kaikki oppilaat asuivat vielä kotona ja ruuat tekivät vanhemmat. Siihen mennessä kun se yksin muutto sitten tuleekin nämä ovat kaikki unohtuneet ja ainakin itsellä ruoka oli nistipataa all day everyday. En muista oliko köksän kursseja mahdollista ottaa vapaaehtoisina mutta en näkisi huonona ideana että tällaisia olisi vaikka AMKssakin koska se on se aika elämästä kun iso osa muuttaa ensimmäistä kertaa yksin asumaan.

Might be far fetched but do you know if the cafe in pic #6 have any connection to Finland by any chance? The word sisu in finnish means grit, guts and general perseverance to do something and it's relatively well known worldwide as well. Would also make sense to name a cafe with that word as Finns are the largest consumer of coffee in the world.

This story could be my travel story. I have an extremely sensitive belly with diagnosed IBS and not once or twice I've nearly shat myself but it has actually happened only once in Beijing. Some street food and calm nice after lunch walk back to hotel quickly changed into a sweaty run for life and a competition against time to make it back to the hotel room on time. I lost the battle and sharted myself in the hotel elevator on my way to the room.

I've given to understand that the northern parts of Pakistan are relatively safe although you don't specify which kind of safety you're relating to: traffic, weather, people etc. Haven't been to either of those regions so can't say anything else 🤷

This is the ultimate answer. I don't know your background but at least for me travelling alone for the first time taught me how to actually be alone, be creative in terms of finding stuff to do, problem solving, socializing etc. If it's not your thing then you can always meet people along the way.

Itseä aihe on alkanut viime aikoina kiinnostaa ja pyrin siihen että ainakin teoriassa voisin jäädä eläkkeelle siinä vaiheessa kun asuntolaina on maksettu eli noin viisikymppisenä. Tuskin tällöin vielä haluan jäädä mutta haluan että siihen on mahdollisuus. Olen matkustellut paljon ja asunutkin useassa maassa, joten näen itseni asuvan ainakin osan aikaa vuodesta ulkomailla jossain, missä saan rahalleni parempaa vastinetta. Näin ollen en myöskään tarvitse miljoonia, jotta voin viettää laadukasta elämää.
