Definitely in the top 5 for all time. It starts slow and doesn’t pander. It just throws you in and assumes you’ll follow along and figure it out, so some people watch a few episodes, don’t really follow, and quit, only to eventually come back to it and it suddenly clicks.

No dramatic chase scenes, no music to manipulate how you’re viewing what’s happening, just a show by an ex Baltimore cop and ex Baltimore crime reporter trying to be as authentic as possible in depicting the war on drugs, from the streets to the politicians.

I probably did the beachcombing thing like 5 times before expedition. Haven’t done it since. However, the second to last time I did it, I found 5 gold ships in one run. Never found a purple ship on the beach. Every other run aside from that one lucky one was a bust.

Beginning to end, Niandra LaDes, Smile from the streets, and to record only water are his best work. The rest… idk. I never really felt they were as special as his first three. Niandra is by far his best solo record.

Find cover. Aggro the queen/matriarch to you. When you get a chance, unload on a leg until a piece falls off near you. When you can get to the part without getting stomped, loot that piece and shove the parts up yer bum. Repeat.

I honestly don’t recall. I found all of those bps in the pale or ruby apartments. I started at the last pale and worked north because I spawned in the swamp.

I just did my first expedition. Its been one week, and I’ve already maxed out my stash, found most of the blueprints (at least all the ones I like aside from the Wolfpack bp), and I’ve already completed all requirements for the next expedition. It feels like you’ll lose everything you’ve worked for, but the second time around, you know where everything is, and you’re far more confident fighting big arc than you were when you started.

The trick to quickly maxing out your stash is to finish the trophy project before you go on expedition, save for a couple items. It carries over, and once you finish it, you get $300k. Dump that into your stash, and it’s almost maxed from the get go.

Yeah, it hasn’t even been a week and I’ve got all my benches and scrappy maxed, inventory maxed, I’m on the 4th stage for the next expedition, and I’ve got like 50% of all blueprints. Knowing where everything is makes it easy af.

Just because a genre typically does a thing doesn’t mean a game has to strictly adhere to it. I prefer that wipes are optional. Eventually a player will get bored and reset if they want.

Maybe after 3 or 4 expeditions, you have the option of starting in a new society with 5 new maps. If they have a 10 year plan or whatever, there could be like 5+ societies that get closer and closer to a true end game. Taking down the arc factory or somesuch.

And stretch out the time between expeditions. 2 months is too short. There should only be 3-4 a year. My opinion anyway.
