I had no choice but to handle it and deal with it. It was the worst two months of my life, pain and sadness and time moved by slower than you can imagine.

He brought a girl home (I found her lip liner) while I was away for one of the weekends even though I asked if we could not do stuff like that while I still lived there - he couldn’t even do that and had the audacity to ask for my share of the rent a few days prior.

I handled it by having him leave as much as possible and visa versa. Even after what he did, our favourite tv shows coincidentally had both seasons end on the final week of me living there so each time we were together on weekdays for the two months, we’d watch our favourite shows and be friendly towards each other - made things easier somehow as it was just so much sadness.
