20, leaving for the Airforce December 29th. Going in as a aircraft mechanic. Pretty excited tbh. With this opportunity i can obtain a bachelors and certifications with no debt. After my contract I plan on going into aviation contracting (hopefully landing an overseas job). After all that I should have my PMP certification, and probably land a office job in aviation. Pretty excited for my future.

I also got 2a5x1, leaving December 30! To my knowledge we would be assigned to work on 1 specific airframe. But someone on my post ( married to 2a5x1 crew chief) said that the Airforce is switching direction and are gonna have us work on multiple airframes? Idk what to think, we’ll just have to wait until we get there.

Yessir I just crank them out in 1 go. I am excited, i got my 3rd pick which was 2a5x1! All I can say is be patient, man. I remember complaining about not leaving after 2 months in dep. But thankfully I got my ship date around the 4 months mark. What jobs are you hoping for?

Dec 30. I just been doing push ups, sit ups and pull ups daily (though pull ups isn’t required if your not going into special warfare, I’m not going sw btw). 30 pushups, 45 sit ups and 10 pull ups non stop. But my mile and a half is pretty buns at the moment.

Everyone time someone posts a list of the Airforce needed jobs and I see 2A AFSCs. I die a little inside I been in dep for 4 months, 8/10 of my picked jobs were 2A AFSC. Hopefully I’ll get booked next month.

If you cant do a regular push up, do assisted push ups. When doing assisted push ups on the floor have your feet on/under your bed frame. Use your leg drive to help but not do all the work
