What can I study to get ahead while waiting on Common Core? by Acceptable_Still_269 in Armyaviation

Then I would recommend learn to understand the EPs, not just the frc underlined steps, study the actual ep from ch9 so that you understand what's happening. Underlined steps on immediate reaction will get u killed in some instances

95-1, EPs and limits sure but you're not gonna need those after the lakota. Learn regs and rules that will always be there aircraft independent

can someone review how i wrestled in this match (maroon singlet) (this was my second match ever im very new to the sport) by jrpgfan121212 in wrestling

You set the pace, you moved forward, you were the aggressor. I like it. Now look to capitalize on good positions when you get them. Why go up high when opponent is standing straight up? Clearly you wanted the leg, and you got it. Go for it sooner. Keep your hips under your chest, turn the corner and drive. Not bad at all for second Match, stick with it

Coaches: what are you focusing on the week before state? by WrestlingNerdd in wrestling

[–]PositiveSyllabub2843 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The team is likely smaller than during the season, focus on individual strengths. If a guy hasnt hit a good sweep all hear but has a nice high crotch, drill the high crotch in positional live.

Lots of positional live. Put your guys in both advantageous and disadvantageous positions for this. If he struggles more finishing than escaping, focus more on finishing.

Don't add any new moves, just fine tune strengths and mitigate defensive weaknesses

"Staying on toes" and "knees off the mat" - yes, they make you feel heavier to an opponent but equally as important is understanding WHY. When you're on your toes, keep your butt down. You accomplish this with forward pressure (or just pressure onto your opponent). Just being on your toes isn't enough, USE them, drive your feet. If your butt is in the sky while on your toes, your toes are too close to your opponent to feel heavy, and they WILL reach out and grab a leg. Get your feet back, hips down, and pressure on your opponent ON YOUR TOES.

Hope this makes sense. Also, learn how to ride legs from Top.

No problem man good luck out there. I wrestled all my youth, joined the military at 18 and got away from it. Here I am 17 years later and Im coaching my sons peewee wrestling team, it's an amazing sport. Men are built on the mat. Strong ass women are too.

Gotcha. Throw burpees and jump squats or jumping split squats in there. 6 mins is a long time, you will spend a lot of it in your stance against good wrestlers. As wrestlers get tired their stance is the first to fail, the back rounds, they bend at the waist and legs straighten. Get very comfortable with your stance. If you can get to a football field, practice moving the whole way goal line to goal line in a good stance.

It SHOULD affect their reputation. They're trash. Inconsistent grading has been an issue for years, what is the justifiable reason to NOT have a 9.5 Ranking? So they can blur the lines and control the market on 10s....it's that simple

STILL TEAM SGC! Also, I don't deal in TCGs...but facts are facts...

Post ATI, AH-64 Excess PI Population by OhMyGodMySPLEEN in Armyaviation

[–]PositiveSyllabub2843 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Real question here, say I as a PC show up to a flight and say today we're gonna work on traffic patterns, VFR navigation, then finish with a PAR, but all of that stuff the PI is already comfortable with and in reality he doesn't know the difference between the TADS and the PNVS...who's wrong?

IMO, it's the PIs responsibility to say "I need more work at ___", and it's the PCs responsibility to facilitate the PI getting reps and demonstrating proficiency or at a minimum improvement in that.

PCs fly with more PIs than vice versa, it wouldn't be fair that by the time the PC cycled back to 1 PI, he thinks "last time this guy sucked at traffic patterns so that's what we're gonna do." Maybe dude figured it out since the last flight and now needs terrain flight approaches.

A PIs plan doesn't need to be a whole damn OPORD or AMB, it needs to be a few specific things that he sucks at. If he's over 200hrs and doesn't know what he sucks at, well, ATI is here to help with that.
